    • Seem like a less quality than what came with my machine
First, the bolts I received aren’t black like what came with my snow machine and what is on the Amazon site. Second. The bolts seem like they are less sturdy that the original ones. I’ve had my Ariens snow blower for 5 seasons and I had my first shear a couple weeks ago. I replaced the sheared pin with one of these that I got through Amazon and I had the new shear pin fail the very next snowstorm. Not scientific but the pins look and feel like a lower grade even thought they are supposedly OEM. ... show more

The Amazon page lists the serial number of my snow blower part number, among many other Ariens models. The pins (see pictures) I got are not anything like Ariens (see picture). They are made of bronze-colored metal, but I doubt they are bronze. The nuts are not the correct size for the bolts—they are too small, or the wrong pitch and won’t screw onto the pins. Included in the pack are some strange spacer things. I guess to be used if the pins are too long. Because I have a brand new Ariens RapidTrack, I won’t even try these pins, fearing they may not break when they need to, thus causing great damage to my machine. I chose these because the wording says “Genuine Ariens OEM”. I'm SURPRISED THAT AMAZOM ALLOWED THESE TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE. I’m going to return them, even though that is a big nuisance because I live in rural area, too many miles from a UPS brick and mortar. I thought I could trust Amazon to do better than this. --guess there's no screening at all ... show more

    • Not OEM as advertised 'FAKE'
Finally needed to use these pins Id bought last year, hit a 1.5" branch in paved driveway. Once replaced went through 2 in 1 snow storm and no major objects encountered., usually go through 1 -3 a season in the wet heavy snow with ice embedded. The other side of auger which has a true OEM with 'A' stamped on top is still working from last year. I threw the rest of the 12 pack out, as they are junk and a complete waste of my time to keep changing as the break so quickly! ... show more

    • I didn't get what I ordered - received some cheap looking bolts instead
These bolts are not even close to what's advertised in the picture. I was looking for genuine Ariens part and these are definitely not. They look like any basic nut and bolt you can get in your local hardware store for 50 cents. They also came in little plastic bags that were completely ripped (with pieces all over the Amazon packaging). Don't waste your $30 to profit this dishonest/misleading seller. I still put them on my snowblower because I needed something right away and it wasn't worth for me to deal with returns. They were at least long enough to fit, but definitely much thiner than the original bolts. We'll see how quickly they break. ... show more

The bolds that were delivered in no way resembled the OEM bolts. Wrong size. Total zero. Not worth my time to deal with returns.
