Their 4LR technology induces maximum cushioning and supports while the cushioned insole has a rebound that further enhances the walking comfort. This platform provides flexible, lightweight comfort with shock absorption and an anatomical last for a true fit. Perfect for construction work or jobs that require repetitive kneeling and bending. Their 100% non-metallic safety technology makes them metal detector friendly. For maximum protection from external perspiration, these western boots are made of Waterproof PRO full-grain leather. Other features include a mesh lining, a classic four-row stitch pattern, EVA midsole for optimum shock-absorption and cushioning, Oil- and slip-resistant Duratred outsole with debris-release tread design, a defined heel, and an easy-off “heel kick” ledge. .

Well this sucks. I bought these boots specifically to replace another pair of the rebar flex that I have had for 3 yrs and love them. When searching I came across these and was good price ok I'm getting them. Well fast forward a few days and I'm wearing the boots. They feel heavier than my old pair but don't care. Well I was crushing the box and saw something thar made my jaw drop. The box said soft toe. What!!! I go check the boots and sure enough they are soft toe. I have been just wearing the around the house and yard to break in a little before wearing for 9hrs standing walking on concrete. These boots were supposed to be exact replacement with safety toe and are not. Now the boot show use and I can't send them back. Very very upset. I don't know if it was improper or missleading description from seller and/or Amazon. There is a giant difference between safety boot and being a safety toe. I knew I should have just ordered straight from ariat. Now I have a pair of boots I pair over $150 for, for work and are now just yard boots. Make sure your ready carefully. This is more of a look out and make sure you pay attention review than a boot review. The boots feel a little heavier than my older SAFETY TOE pair but still comfortable. I've been wanting a pair of Ariat pull-on work boots for quite a while. I talked to a lot of folks who wore these type of boots and it came down to a decision between Justins and Ariat. Ariat won because they just seemed better made. Don't get me wrong, Justin makes some good boots, too. I'm not a cowboy. I'm not a farmer. I don't consider myself much of a "country boy." So I thought it would be ridiculous of me to wear a pair of Western-style work boots...but I really liked the style anyway, so I said "what the heck?" and I picked these. I do work at a popular feed and farm equipment store, though, and I'm on a concrete floor or sidelot for eight hours a day, rain or shine, so I need something durable and comfortable. I think I found what I was looking for. They are comfortable and they support my large frame and constant ground-pounding all day (I zoom around quite a bit for a fat guy.). I will say that I wasn't quite getting the comfort I was looking for at first. The standard-issue footbed was decent, but my feet and ankles were hurting a little at the end of each day. They would probably work fine if I weren't on concrete and asphalt all day. So, I ordered a pair of the Ariat ATS Square-Toe Footbeds and the problem was solved immediately. These boots break in quickly. The leather is thick and durable. Very good quality. They provide excellent support, even if you have flat feet like me. I like how there's lots of room for my toes, but I wish the overall fit were a little more snug. I ordered a pair of size 11s, since 10.5 was too small. They're not so loose that they cause discomfort or blisters. I just have to make sure I wear the right socks. Thick work socks fix this minor hiccup. I had to test out the waterproof feature today, as I was changing a trailer hitch and loading out hydraulic oil and a dog kennel in a torrential downpour this afternoon. The only part of me that wasn't soaked were my feet. Ariat made an otherwise crappy day bearable. Finally, I like the design of these boots. Yes, they are western-style work boots, but they don't look "too" western. They have a little bit of a modern look to them. These are like a hybrid between the Pale Rider and Mad Max. I love 'em. I especially like the green shaft, since that's my favorite color. So, in summary, PROS: --Comfortable --Surprisingly Lightweight --Durable --Well-made --Waterproof --Nice design CONS: --Comfort is good for normal use, but if you're going to be working on concrete or asphalt for hours on end, you probably want to invest in the ATS Footbed for perfect comfort. --Not exactly perfect fit. Do-able, comfortable, but not perfect. I love these boots. I'd buy them again without question. ... show more

I’ve had these boots before, worked em 4 months in hot, humid, wet and oily conditions. I really like how comfortable they are and their amazing slip resistance. If you’re going to stand for awhile, and want to look cool doing it, buy these. If you’re on your knees a lot (hehe) don’t buy these as the leather can and most likely will come off the sole, starting on the middle part of the boot where they bend. Of course, even then, no water came in, though I may have been lucky. Honestly, if that didn’t happen, these would be 5/5. They look amazing even after being worked to death, and the sole is top quality. Of course, like any boot they widen out plenty. So buy a size where your toes aren’t hitting the top. If they’re a little narrow on the width, just wait out for like a week or two until they loosen up. If you decide to purchase these, also buy boot glue, just in case. If they’re not for work, they are still ruggedly beautiful. ... show more
