Top Amazon Reviews

  • AC Infinity's first gen ten review, great product overall, few things for improvement
Size: 60” x 60” x 80”
I was one of the first to order and receive a Cloudlab tent. The Good: The overall build quality is excellent. The zippers appear similar to my MarsHydro, however they are the best zippers I have used. This includes zippers on jackets, tents, jeans, etc. When you first use them they glide very smooth. Considering zippers are one of the most important features of a tent, this rates very high to me. After all zippers are one of the wear items that would be difficult to repair if there is an issue. The material is listed as high density 2000D canvas. It is heavy duty and feels slightly thicker than my MarsHydro, however not as thick as a Gorilla. It does an excellent job of blocking incoming light and anything heavier is most likely over kill anyhow. Support beams are thick and support the tent and accessories well. For most applications, they are more than enough. I am sure they would support the rated 100 lbs. My Mars is rated higher and doubt it could support more than my AC Infinity. Love the plate to mount the controller. Since I have an AC Infinity controller, it looks great and fits as expected. They even included velcro if you have another brand controller or want to mount a small display. The Bad... I have the 866 (5'x5') tent, largest they currently sell. At the widest point there is a seam. The stitching is very good, however there are seams. I doubt there would be seams on a tent less than 5 feet since it the last foot. If they made a 4'x8' the square footage would be 32 compared to 25 and they could have avoided the seams since the length is not an issue. It does not leak, but does not lie completely flat on the bottom of the tent and the tray. When I set up the tent, I put the seam on the tray on the opposite side of the bottom or it would have increased the bump. It was nice they included a pocket, however the placement is on the second section of the opening and it is sewn in so you can't easily remove it. I can open the front section of the door without impacting where the pocket is located. Occasionally if I want to the front and the side (it is one long zipper), then the pocket will open and flap down if you are not careful. It is not a huge deal, however an easy remedy would to place the pocket on the opposite side. This would correct the issue mentioned and make the items in the pocket more accessible since I could easily reach it by only opening part of the front. Why did I buy it?!? I bought it for two primary reasons. I have only seen a few tents, so I watched many videos and read ratings prior to making a decision. Overall AC Infinity makes quality items at a fair price, so I was inclined to give them a benefit of doubt based on their reputation. Secondly, they offered a warranty. While I don't put a lot of faith in warrantees, I did not find another tent to offer one let alone 3 years. Pretty impressive that they are willing to stand behind their product. Lastly, I use the room beyond a grow room and loved the pics and colors. Black like every grow tent I have seen and a nice grey accent. It looks nice in the room and like the pics. I would buy again. The seams are a slight concern if I were to spill a lot of water, but I think this is minor and would not stop me. The smaller tents probably don't have seams or the need to open the door up beyond the front. I rarely do on my smaller tent. It is a great value, high quality are a comparable price and absolutely love the zippers. ... show more

  • Buy it IF it's available!!!
Size: 60” x 60” x 80”
Although I have owned lots of camping/screen tents over the years, this is my first grow tent. This tent is built better than any of those. I did lots of research and read many reviews and the most common complaints about grow tents seem to be light leaks and poor quality zippers. There are very few light leaks on a seam or two ( I would be willing to bet most tents will have some leaks ) and the zippers are heavy duty...as is the rest of the tent. The poles fit together nicely with a good solid click from the buttons. No redrilling of holes. From the way the tent is packaged (NOT stealth shipping though) to their storefront (nice professional website, with words spelled correctly!) everything screams quality. Even though I assembled it alone, it went up fairly easy. Like most other tent makers they assume you are assembling this in a 20x20 wide open area, which I wasn't, so you might not be able to lays things out like in the directions. I assembled the frame from the "ground up"as I did not have the room to build two halves and put them together like the directions read. Putting the cover on wasn't hard...just take your time and you shouldn't bend a pole or tear a seam. Though that may be hard to do as well as this is built. I like this tent so much I bought the 3x3 to use for a drying tent. Probably overkill for that purpose but I could not NOT justify spending the little extra $ to get this much more quality. I had ordered a competitor 3x3 tent and sent it right back. Weighed about half as much and poles were only half as heavy. For the few extra bucks.... All in all I don't think you can get a better bang for your buck. It might not be GG quality as I have never seen one in person but it's nowhere near as expensive. I also bought AC Infinity duct fans, carbon filters and ducting and ALL were packaged solidly and looked well built. Very happy with these purchases. If I would change anything about these tents it would be these few things (which seem to be common in most tents) 1. Additional hanging bar(s) or the ability to purchase them. 2. Doors that zip 3/4 of the way around the tent. I can see it from an assembly standpoint but I prefer to go inside my tent to tend to the plants and don't need all of that access to the plants from the outside. I would think that is a lot of weight for the zipper to support and might be a source for future light leaks. 3. Observation window? Why not just unzip the door a little bit and peek in? I wonder if a long vertical zipper in the middle of the door to peek in and slide into the tent itself to tend to the plants would work. You also have to unzip the door quite a ways to take advantage of the hanger to keep it out of the way when you do open it. More than I care to. The inside storage pouch is also located on this part of the wall that zips away. Could be on the opposite wall which is fixed in place. 4. Would like to see top ducting ports located a little higher. Just a few small things I could think of that would work better in MY situation. Everyone has their own ideas. I do know this though...after doing the indoor gardening thing for about 6 years now I can unequivocally give this piece of advice - Buy the best equipment that you can afford!!! I tried to re-invent the wheel and go the DIY route but in the long run it costs way more money and lots of lost time and effort. The old saying garbage in, garbage out holds true here as well. With quality equipment you can control your environment which is number one to successful indoor growing in my opinion. One more thing that tent/light manufacturers could come up with is a better system to hang filters, ducting, fans AND lights. The wire hangers, filters straps and ratchet hangers with carabiners is cluttered with ropes dangling everywhere and just not very "user friendly" especially for us old farts whose hand don't quite work like they used to! One more nice touch from AC Infinity is the fan control mount on the outside of the tent which allows for adjusting fan speed without having to go into the tent. All in all a very solid buy. • Best of the best
Size: 36” x 36” x 72”
In my opinion you can't find a higher quality tent on the market. These tents are made from thick fabric that will definitely hold up over time. The mylar is very reflective and the zippers seem nice and sturdy. The main door has a cover over the zipper but the side doors do not and that is a potential for light leaks but no problems so far. I love the slot to weave the cords through for a clean look and there are plenty of openings for cords and ductwork. They look great and work great. Ac Infinity customer service is also the best. I hear people say it ok to cheap out on the tent but buy once, cry once. ... show more
