For added safety, each boot has a round- toe-shape steel safety toe that is ASTM F2413-11 M/I/75 C/75 EH rated, while for added comfort there is ASTM 2892-11 EH rated soft toe. Boots arrived on time and in new condition. I have been wearing many types of boots my whole life. I normally wear a 10D. Based on other reviews, I ordered 3 other pair in different sizes. The 10Ds fit a little snug on my right foot and fine on my left foot, most people have one foot a little bigger than the other. I have now been wearing these boots for two days and they are breaking in fine and feeling more comfortable. I would recommend getting a 12" shoe horn. The inside of the uppers are a rough leather that makes it hard to get your foot in. The same boot that I have in soft toe has a smooth inner upper that goes on easily. ... show more

I've always been a fan of Ariat work boots, so when it was time for new boots I figured you can't go wrong with Ariat. Well no surprise, these boots are built to last and great for hot weather and out door work. The down side is that the shaft is all leather no lining which makes the boot hard to slip on. It's nothing a good pair of boot hooks won't fix. The toe box is wide enough so my toes don't rub against the steel toe, nice arch support definitely like that they're made for working outdoors walking on rocks then stand up to it you know hot asphalt. Relatively short breaking. I do wear compression ankle braces so that helped alleviate the rubbing against the heel the top is a little tight expect a little bit of bruising on the top of your foot but once the boot loosens up that shouldn't be a problem I'm expected with you know wearing cowboy boots. But overall a good boot I mean I recommend it definitely the bottom sole tread built to last leathers good like I said it's the down part is sliding these boots on definitely a little bit of a challenge if you were thick boot socks. ... show more

The worst fitting boots I have ever purchased. The top is enourmous and the heel box is twice as wide as the toe. Tried the smaller size and they didn’t work either. Will barely fit in your pant leg and pulls your sock down. I have been working to break them in but there is no hope for them. Wish I would have returned them immediately. ... show more

Love how comfortable they feel. Very easy to keep clean and looking sharp. Bought two pairs within a 24hr period. My 16 year old son liked how they felt so I had to order myself another pair just for me. More than likely, I'll order another pair for my oldest son who's 19 already. Excellent product

    • Basic Durable Heavy Duty Work Boot

These are one of the most solid slip-on, steel toe work boot. They last about a year in heavy use - mud, rocks, oil/grease etc. They are used by guys working at a hard rock mine in the mountains. They are not waterproof but resistant. The environment is very cold in winter and extremely hot in summer - they are fine in each year round if working. The leather is strong and stitching HD but after time putting the boot in hard angles going up/down rocky hills, sharp rocks, water, chemicals, oil etc., everything breaks-down and tears. The soles are solid and will not separate. The leather just gets ripped and torn. But not many put their boots in such environments. This is probably the worst of the worst and we keep using them ... show more
