I am a welding instructor and use it everyday with my students, using it stick welding, flux core, MIG, TIG, cutting and grinding and it works great, the lens clarity is fantastic. The only downside is the integrated flashlights could be brighter but atleast they are there and help some. The head gear is comfortable and the weight is light.

Great helmet to have, sturdy and well designed with comfort and stability entwined, head strap is easy to use and adjust in a pinch, fast changing of auto darkening fearure. and very easy to see out of. Highly recommend for new and trained welders.

Unboxing & Power The helmet arrived in professional packaging with a comprehensive shading chart and a polyester storage bag. Note that the internal 500mAh battery may arrive completely flat; mine required about an hour of USB charging before the digital display or Dual LED lights would activate. Once charged, the battery level indicator is a very helpful feature. Technical Features & Optics The "Intelligent" side of this helmet is its strongest suit. Digital Interface: The internal display for Shade, Sensitivity, and Delay is intuitive and easy to adjust. Functionality: The auto-shade is responsive, and I appreciate the external "Grind" button that allows you to pause the darkening feature without taking the helmet off. Dual LED Lights: The integrated lighting is a standout feature, providing excellent visibility in low-light shop areas before you strike an arc. Ergonomics & Design Observations Geometry: Unlike most helmets with rounded or flat bottoms, this model has a distinct pointed design. If the headgear isn't dialed in perfectly, this point can strike the chest when flipping the mask down. While it doesn't hit when sitting or standing perfectly straight, it’s a design quirk to be aware of (I may add foam padding to mitigate this). Weight Distribution: While the total weight is comparable to my other hoods, this model is noticeably front-heavy. The tension knobs require significant tightening to hold the mask in the "up" position. Assembly: The removable shield is difficult to snap back into place and requires a specific amount of force to seat correctly. Verdict Despite some ergonomic hurdles and a stiff lens-retention system, the optical features and integrated LED lights make this a high-performing hood. If you prefer digital controls over analog knobs, this is a solid 4-star choice.
