There’s so many features making the job a lot easier and faster the auto adjust is very nice the head band is extremely comfortable this is a must have if you don’t already have. I've used a few different hoods like harbor freight, speedglas and miller and none of those compare to this helmet. Switching from almost any of the other mainstream brand helmets to this one will feel like youve been welding blind up until now. Because of the blue shade rather than greener tints it makes it easier to see any soapstone markings and the edge of your puddle 10x easier to see. Grind button is easy to find and operate with thicker stick welding gloves and the padding on the front AND back makes it perfect to wear all day and wont fall off or dig into your head when you tighten it down more to stay on when youre welding out of position. It works very well has all the shades 1,2,3 4,5,6,7,8 9,10 I don't remember actually if it has 11 I never would use that anyway. The grind button can be a pain in the butt to turn on and off. But other than that it's the best weld helmet I ever owned.

This helmet is great! Comfortable fit even with a Elmer fudd cap to keep warm. Had a couple cheap end helmets before made the leap. But night and day comparison. Longevity is what I'll be back to note. So far though I wish I switched sooner. Update: lense started malfunctioning at about a year. Seller responded within the hour and is having a replacement sent. Again. Just get it. ... show more
