    • Great water purifier!
UPDATE 4/2023: I just replaced the #1/2 filter after I was alerted that it was depleted. The system is still going strong and working well. I sort of don't like how much water to tend to waste in cleaning out each basin each week and also when emptying out the tap water tank of the dirty water but on the other hand, it still uses less water than an under sink RO system. The water out of this tastes consistently very good and I tend to add a few drops of sea minerals to each glass to make my own mineral water. While there is not a whole lot different between this wifi model and the non-wifi model, I got this model and don't regret it. The main differences are you can check the actual percentage left for each filter and also the built-in TDS readings for each tank via the app. With the original model, it would just tell you when the filters need replacing and it would be a guessing game how long from now that would be. I do wish the app would tell the actual TDS numbers; currently it just says low medium or high, which is not that useful. I moved from a Berkey and could not be happier. The water tastes a lot better. The Berkey water always tasted a bit like rubber to me. And this also provides purified water much quicker. You can go from an empty tank to a full tank in 10 minutes. And, no fiddling around with having to prime any filters with your faucet, etc. AquaTru is also certified to NSF standards, unlike Berkey. I sometimes just drink the purified water out of the AquaTru but usually I like to remineralize it with deep ocean minerals. I use Whole Earth & Sea, Deep Ocean Minerals for that. The AquaTru filters seem to last a good while (they need replacing at different rates so the app tracker comes in handy for that) and they don't seem overly expensive.     • Works and tastes great
First, the pros: Water produced by this filter tastes great. I have an older undersink Whirlpool RO system but the water from the AquaTru tastes better. I am an engineer and am not easy to impress but .... I'm impressed. I had the machine set up and running within 20 minutes. I ordered the optional sliding base with it which I highly recommend if you are going to put this machine under a cabinet on a countertop. Cons: The water spout is not high enough up off the counter to place a 24oz water bottle underneath to fill. While there are a few workarounds for this minor issue so not that big a deal. The side of the water outlet nozzel is should be marked with a small red arrow so that someone not familiar with the nmachine will know where to place their glass or cup to fill. The power on/off switch is on the back of the machine which is not convenient for those of us who have tight counter space. The app works but does not work as expected. Please fix the app - it has issues. Overall: very highly recommended. ... show more

Awesome countertop RO water filter system, very easy to install and use. I replaced regular VOC filter with VOC pH mineral boost to add minerals to RO water. Great taste and good for health. Very satisfied with the purchase.

    • Not worth it
This is a long term review. Owned for about 1.5 years and it randomly quit. Before it would filter a gallon in about 10-12mins which was fine. Put new filters in still didn’t work. Tank leaked constantly. Absolutely not worth 400plus dollars. Threw in the garbage this morning after several weeks of wasting money on new filters, descaling kits etc. total crap. ... show more

    • Expensive but cheaper in long run
I'm a full-time RVer And I get water from so many questionable sources. It's always nice to know that every glass of water I'm drinking is going to be very clean. So far I've run about 250 gallons out of my filter Anne I'm very happy with it. I've not had any problems whatsoever with this device. I've already went through one filter change with the carbon filter. All the rest of the filters are still the first filter that came with the device. It is definitely a cleaner tasting water than even a Zero Water filter was. Because this device is in my RV, It gets jostled around often and it's quite a sturdy little device. Only issue I have is that the clean water reservoir, I have 2 of them, Can leak when sitting alone in the refrigerator. Again remember that this is in an RV and It is getting jostled around often. I'm very happy with this device and certainly would buy another one ... show more

So far I love this water filter, it has taken 99% of the crap out of the water. The filters are easy to change out, a little pricey but if you only need to change your mind once every 6 months that's not bad. And I have noticed the difference in the way my coffee and tea tastes when I use the reverse osmosis water from the system. So far no leaks everything's running good! ... show more
