easy to put together , a extra would help , but it can be done alone . and frame at the bottom for a shelf or to if done right . and I'm sure you might be able to find a smaller tank to fit on it ... maybe a 15 gal one .

    • A GREAT aquarium stand
If you’re looking for a metal aquarium stand, you found it! I love it so much I bought 2. It fit my 10 g and my 20 g perfectly. Once assembled (took maybe 10 minutes?) it’s very sturdy. The 20 g has enough room under it to store some buckets under it. It’s stylish and sturdy. I don’t think it’s wobbly at all, and It’s not going to topple over easily. It can be bolted to the wall if this is a possibility. I did use some two sided foam tape to create some traction, since glass/metal/plastic all tend to be slippery and I don’t want the tank moving around. Although once filled with water it’s pretty heavy so I doubt it would actually move, but … just in case ... show more

    • Perfect for 20 gallon tank
It was pretty easy to assemble, I was nervous when it was put together it seemed not sturdy but after putting a 20 gallon frog tank it has held up with no issues.

The stand is not for a 20 gallon tank. I should have read the reviews before buying. It is unstable (wobbles) and poses a safety risk to young children. I gave it a low rating because of the safety and fit. It is a nice looking stand.

The media could not be loaded. This stand is easy to put together. At first I thought it would not be sturdy enough but it definitely is. It would be better with a bottom shelf.
