The heater arrived and was installed right away but would not power up. I reached out to Aquastrong support and they promptly started working with me to troubleshoot the issue. After some back and forth, it was determined that the heater motherboard was bad and a new heater would be needed. I was immediately refunded and then I went ahead and placed a new order which came quickly. After setting up the new heater and connecting power, it turned on right away and worked as expected. The power controls and the app work very well and I was most excited about being able to control the heater from my phone. So far so good. Works great and heated up my 8,000 gallon pool to 88 within a day. Although the customer support is only through email, which I was concerned about, they are very prompt and willing to help and ensure that you are happy. Happy with my purchase and the Aquastrong support.

This product was very easy to install and far less expensive than others. Additional one year warranty with product registration or replacement. I could not find a better warranty. I had previously purchased an Armstrong pool pump and was totally satisfied with the product and customer support. This 35,000btu inverter heat pump has only been running for a few days but appears to be working exceptionally well. The wi-fi interface made start up fast and easy. I already had the Tuya app to control my pool lights so the heat pump identified my network through smart connect and added it to my app. Temperature control, start, stop, frequency, refrigerant pressures and full diagnostic info available on my phone from anywhere! Exceptionally quiet! I wasn’t sure the unit was running until I seen the fan spinning. In the coming months I will be excited to see my electric bill because of the high COP of this unit.

Installation wasn't too bad. Setup was a breeze. Knocking off One star because wifi doesn't seem to work. In 30 hours, it heated my 15x 30 oval pool from 74°F to 84°F it was cloudy/overcast, and humidity was in high 80s. Didn't feel that humid because there was 5 to 10 mph breeze all day. Yes, I have a weather station and yes I know I'm a geek.

Its a pain to get this setup. Unless you have experience with setting such product....there is no way you can just set this. Additionally no local pool company will send anyone to get it setup since its not their product. Finally I found someone who charged 400 dollars to set it up and I have not felt the water heat up yet. It shows high temperatures but the water continues to be cool.

I've got a 12 x 24 rectangular above ground pool about 9000 gallons. I live in Alabama. If we are lucky we can get in the pool in late April early may. We have been swimming in our pool since the first week of April or about 7 days after my purchase. It took the first week to get the pool up to temperature from 54 degrees to 90 degrees. I turned heat up to see how high I could get it and I got it to 102 degrees and then lowered it back to 90 to make sure it also cools as advertised and put it on the automatic setting and worked perfectly. Set up and connecting to WiFi was very simple. I can control everything from my phone. The initial heat up stage i put it on "boost" heat mode. Comes on and off same as my homes heat pump which is what this is. It also seems very efficient as my hot tub cost more per month to operate. So far very happy with my purchase and of course time will tell. By the way none of my friends, family or neighbors are using their pool yet.

I don't think there is much to be impressed with on this heating unit. I stepped up the $$ for 35,000 BTU in order to better heat but generally speaking. it is never putting out more than 2 degrees difference of water temp vs heated return water. Of course that improves as it gets hotter outside (Makes sense - it is drawing outside air to heat) but one cool night, loss of temp and you're starting all over again. Maybe my expectations are too high. Ordering and delivery was flawless aside from UPS setting the unit outside our property gate and leaving an old guy like me to haul it up to the pool :) Overall - I thinkmore or less I got what i paid for - definitley not more.

Excellant customer service. Our first init had an issue and they helped us troubleshoot. Communication was respectful and helpful. We ended up having to replace the unit. The replacement unit works like a champion. Heats fast. Straight forward install and easy to operate.
