Quick and transparent shipping with great communication and listing info from the seller. Having the option to ship assembled is top-tier customer service for sure! I love the clear plastic hinge as it makes light dispersion significantly better than a black hinge. It has been easy to clean so far and is holding up well to use and abuse. The price would be excellent if it wasn't for one almost major complaint. I sized the lid selection based on instructions in the listing before ordering. Front-to-back it fits perfectly. However, it is barely and I mean hair's breadth kind of BARELY sitting inside the frame of my tank from side-to-side. I have to use the feet of my light wedged in the gap on either side of the lid to keep it stable. Without that, the lid falls into the tank with the slightest touch. It has nearly injured my fish on a few occasions. I have to get frame clips in order to prevent that from happening any more. This lid needs to be 1/4-1/2 an inch wider on each side for the inside frame of a 20 gallon high aquarium. ... show more

I'd been wanting glass lids for my tanks for a while. I've been doing an overhaul—I had two 10-gallon tanks, one 6-gallon tank, and one 5-gallon tank, all of which housed one betta each. To consolidate space and power a little bit, I split the two 10-gallons in half, but I was worried the bettas might jump over the divider with the slanted hood lid that came with the tanks. So I ordered two of these glass lids. The seller contacted me within the hour, as they wanted to make absolutely sure that the size I ordered was the size I needed. When I confirmed that it was, within twenty minutes I got the notification that the lids had shipped. When I received the lids, they were very well packaged and wrapped, with the two glass pieces already hinged together. My only complaint—I want to preface it by saying I think it was user error (ie, I just didn't know what I was doing lol)—is with the plastic add-on piece that can be cut to accommodate the tank accessories. I had so much trouble getting them onto the glass sections—I wanted to just snap them on, but I couldn't get it on that way and ended up having to slide it very tediously along the glass until it was in the correct position. I kept worrying I was going to scratch or break the glass in the process. Then I tried cutting the pieces out with an Exacto knife like I'd seen someone else say in a review, but it was taking a really long time, and I discovered scissors worked just as well. So when I needed to cut a piece out of the middle of the edge, I used the scissors for the two sides and then the exacto knife to score and remove the last piece. I would also say put the add-on on before cutting the pieces. With the second lid I cut the plastic first but then had only cut edges to hold onto when I was trying to slide it onto the glass. Again I believe this was all user error and there was most likely a much easier way to do all of that, but just wanted to add it in case someone else is clueless like me, lol. Other than that, I really like the lids. They're a lot sleeker than the plastic hood lids I had and even though I've only used them a few days so far, it seems like they'll help slow evaporation and even though they don't have lights (which I'll be researching later), it's less necessary since the lid is, obviously, glass. Anyway, I'll definitely be buying another one for my single 5-gallon tank, as I ended up getting another betta lol ... show more

I have an older tank and the lid is an off size, this seller was so amazing to deal with, I bought a set for my 75 gallon over a year ago and have been so happy with the functionality and value for the money I paid. They took no time to pop together and are so clear that the lights can really shine better than ever. A couple weeks ago my silly butt stepped on one when I had it off for cleaning. I contacted the seller on here and explained and they worked with me so I could buy half of a unit instead of a full 2 piece topper again. Excellent service, helped me even though it was clearly my fault the thing got damaged. I couldn’t be more happy with the topper and think it was as worth every penny, I will absolutely return to this seller if I need another tank lid again. I downsized from a 150 gallon tank to a 55 gallon. I bought the tank at PetSmart. I quickly became discouraged after my purchase when I learned they didn’t sell glass canopies that fit this particular tank. I tried multiple aquarium stores and even some on Amazon only to find each one of them would not fit. I found this product which seemed to be the perfect size. I also read a review of a person who has the same tank as me. I was so excited except the price seemed awful high. I decided not to purchase it because of that. Then, one day I got fed up with my cats messing with the hoods that came with the tank and decided I was ready to pay the price. Much to my surprise, it had significantly dropped. I immediately made my purchase. Soon after doing so, I received messages from the seller about it being on back order. They were very clear and direct in their communication about what to expect including timeframes and the notifications I may get from Amazon along the way. I was willing to wait for it in hopes it was what I needed. It ended up coming just a little later than I hoped, but when I messaged to get a status update they promptly replied. Everything they said to expect happened exactly as they described. I extend my biggest appreciation to the seller. The canopy fits perfectly for my tank, and I’m so relieved to be back to normal! I was highly impressed with their detailed, thorough, and most of all accurate communication. It was well worth the wait!!!
