Features

  • ADVANCED TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT - Thanks to progressive inverter engineering and embedded chips, our fish heater offers accurate temperature control within a remarkable 1F precision. This outperforms traditional knob-adjusted heaters. The intuitive thermostat presents real-time and targeted temperatures, making the heater's operation a cinch.
  • PRIORITIZING SAFETY - Protection from overheating and dry running is ensured. Should the water level drop under the required minimum, the heater automatically deactivates (DRY RUN PROTECTION). Additionally, should the water temperature exceed 97F, it automatically shuts down (OVERHEATING PROTECTION). You don't have to worry about inadvertently "cooking fish"!!
  • MEMORY FUNCTION - The thermostat's chip remembers the last chosen settings. In the event of a power outage, the fish tank heater will revert to the last selected setting when power returns.
  • MULTIFUNCTIONAL APPLICATIONS - Our heater's design extends beyond aquarium use. It works efficiently in both freshwater and saltwater habitats. Aside from its primary function as a aquarium heater, it can also serve as a turtle heater, pet fountain warmer, or a plant seedling heat provider.

  • Great Aquarium Heater
Size: 200W
I waited a couple of months to review this to see how it worked over some time. I have been very happy with it. I have it in a 45 gallon tank and I have a thermometer on the other side of the tank in addition to the one that is built in to this unit. The temperature has remained very consistent with no problems noted. I like the dark plastic case and the black cord to make it less noticeable against the black back of my tank. I would definitely but again. ... show more

I like the sturdy liners of the heater and built in temperature control Please be aware you need the right g ht size heater for your specific tank 100 wats is good for up to 20 gallons but if you use it in a T GALLON tank you'll cook your fish Choose the size CAREFULLY do not COOK YOUR FISH

  • Works well.
Size: 100W
Temperature stays where you set it! Good heater. Keep submerged or it will not work.

  • Once I figured out how to set it, I mostly like it
Size: 100W
I know it seems like setting a heater for your fish tank should be a no brainer but it wasn't for me. First, I know someone had an issue with the suction cups separating from the heater. I did find that you have to put them into the slots and then turn them to lock them into place. If you don't do that, they likely will separate at some point. Pressing the set button repeatedly, turns the set temperature up in increments until you reach your desired temperature. If you pass your desired setting accidentally, keep increasing the temperature until you reach the highest setting (93 degrees, I think) and then on the next press, it drops to the lowest setting again. It doesn't go backwards. I was panicking thinking that there was no way to turn it down until I figured this out. That info is not in the instructions. I left my other heater in the tank and have this one running next to it. The other one has a preset temp but it runs a few degrees lower than I would like. At any rate, now, I feel more confident that if one of the heaters fails, there will still be a working heater in the tank. I do think that this heater holds the temperature consistently steady since my digital tank thermometer reads exactly what the heater says. I do wish that the heat setting unit was higher up on the cord so I could see it easier. It's only 10" or so from the plug end so I have to crouch down to see it and set it. If you have an outlet that's higher up on the wall, this will not be an issue but my outlet is at your typical level at about a foot off the floor so it's not great for me. ... show more

  • So Far So Good- Some Unique Design Features In This Worth Observing
Size: 300W
I can't take photos today for you, but I hope to in the near future. I want to illustrate some of the really interesting design features in this heater. HOW THIS COMES This comes in a nice sturdy box that is closed very well with a fold over lid. The heater and other parts of this are housed in nice stiff foam. It is well protected. There is a small instruction leaflet inside. CORD The cord is long enough to fit in most aquarium situations, but the controls are about 9 inches below the plug. If you plug your heater in below the tank level, this can be frustrating for you. If possible, this is best with a well rated outlet strip at eye level so you can keep tabs on the temperature setting and heating patterns of the heater- both of which are indicated on the control box. CONTROLS This is a basic control system. The control button allows you to make the temperature go forward in reasonable increments of degrees. The thing is that you will have to go through all of the temperatures again if you miss the one you wanted. It only goes forward to 90s then starts again low and goes up. When the heater is on, the light changes from green to red. The water temperature reads out at all times. When the heater is off, the light is green. HOUSING That is where this is a very unique set up. I have had other items from AquaMiracle and they seem to like this sectional design. I do too. This case is set up in FIVE sections. That means if you have to get to the lower part only to clear out something, you can. If you want to take off the entire casing you can. You can take it off in fifths - this is FANTASTIC. Just make sure that each part of the housing is lined up so that the square opening at the top and bottom are lined up to receive the suction cups. Look at the slots on each section. There is a latch bump that has to be showing in every space. That means it is secure. Play with it a bit and get the hang of it. I know that in the other Aqua Miracle pumps I have had with this design, it has been a lifesaver. I love it. SUCTION CUPS The suction cups go in the square holes. Make sure they are lined up above each other on the bottom and near the top. The sections all rotate so be sure that the squared latch is fully in view in each section and you will know it is secure. Then you are ready for the suction cup. To install the suction cup, you put in the square part of the cup into the hole AND LOCK IT INTO PLACE but twisting it. Try to have the little tabs all facing up. That makes it easier to remove the suction if you need to for any reason. My other Aqua Miracle items have all had decent suction cups and this seems to be good as well. Just be sure to lock into place. TEMPERATURE So far this keeps a decent steady temperature. Longevity is the name of the game so as far as that goes, I will have to come back to update and let you know how it is performing longer term than just a few weeks. POWER OUTAGE I am SO glad that this has a memory feature so during outages that this will go right back to the correct temperature. We have had quite a few outages this summer and fall, so this is an important feature for me. It works so far. THE BOTTOM LINE I am impressed with the design of this heater. It protects the fish (tiny cone snails might fit in there) and allows for very easy cleaning and upkeep. MY RATING FIVE STARS on this one. I really like the thoughtful design so far on this. It is so easy to clean and maintain that I am very happy so far. I hope it lasts and keeps working because the design is definitely interesting. PHOTOS TO COME IN THE NEAR FUTURE I HOPE ... show more

  • Doesn't actually heat the water
Size: 300W
I have a 200W and 300W in a 30 gallon tank and that barely cuts it... My 125 gallon has a single 500W heater that keeps the whole thing up to temp. Something doesn't add up here.
