I didn’t realize this was made only for rimless. It’s okay though, I just took a razor blade to the rim and now it fits. Very sturdy and no problems after 6 months of use.

    • Fits the Hydra 32!
The quality on this is very good! It’s almost all metal the only part that isn’t is the clamp which obviously you don’t want to be metal. Bought it for the new Hydra 32hd’s, and it fits. The only issue is the cord will not go into the recess because it’s to thick. Ended up zip tying it the frame. Would look better in the recess but it still looks great. Has a lot of adjustments to get it exactly where you want it. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

I had the misfortune of finding out that this is for rimless tanks only. However with a bit of ingenuity i managed to make it work with my tank. The design is great to look at once assembled but here lies the second issue. It's a pain in the ass to put together. Horrible hook design for any tank that isn't rimless. The adapter piece that connects the light to the top rail was missing screws. There was no included Allen wrench which is show to be included in the directions. Sadly.. I understand why it's so hard to find photos of this online. Because no one will be able to use it. ... show more

The best arm but very very hard to screw it together. After a couple of screw trials, the bolt heads damaged but if you mount it in a correct way, it is the best arm!
