Having owned an whole house filter system for many years, I know that having a filter that’s too dense slows water pressure down too much. These are perfect! I change them out about every month and being that they’re not too expensive, I feel that they’re a great value for me.

    • Don't fit my 10" filter housings
I tried a couple of these in a couple different clear 10" filter housings. Like another reviewer, mine wouldn't fit the housing without twisting/distorting when tightened down. If your bowl isn't clear, you might not realize the problem.

    • A must have for well water for rv.
Filter most of the hard ward before my water softener for rv. Seems to work well as I only had to recharge softener once last season.

    • Filter does not fit propely GE filters.
These filters do not fit GE filters. The are a bit bigger than original GE filters. They crush when tightened. I am not sure if this hampers filter performance....
