I frequently read people who report an item as a 4 instead of 5. That way I feel like what bugs people DO find I’ll know about them. If I feel any concern, then I go on to read the 1’s and the 2’s. This review Isn’t about a SMALL thing but I hoped more of you would read it……… I got pretty sick while I was using these filters, then as I read the ONES I FOUND OUT ABOUT A WHOLE FAMILY WHO HAD G.I. PROBLEMS, EVEN THE DOG I AM 84 SO IT I MAY BE MORE SENSITIVE. I STILL DON’T LIKE TO GET SICK SO HERE’S THE REVIEW THAT I WROTE: This is my second time Second time using the filters from subscribe and save. First time was great. Second time not so much. Started getting black flecks regularly in my water- would head them off at the Gulch By sifting them out in the top part before they got into the water, all the while thinking how many of these are getting through and how many am I drinking? Can that be GOOD? Next thing that happened was that the water was running through so slowly I had to do jobs in between, and keep filling the top unit until I have the water level I wanted. OK just bothersome. Next, I decided to read the reviews to see if anyone else had encountered any of these problems. Guess what? there must’ve been, Well, what’s 4% of 12,000, so I read the 2’s and the threes 2% of twos and I forget how many threes all encountered the same problems. OK guess: I’m gonna go back to the OEM product. EXCEPT THAT I FOUND ONE REVIEW WHO SAID THE WHOLE FAMILY HAD G.I. PROBLEMS AND EVENTUALLY FIGURED OUT IT CAME FROM DRINKING THE WATER EVEN THE DOG WAS SICK SO NOW I’M THINKING, I AM OLD! I AM 84 YEARS OLD AND PROBABLY MORE SENSITIVE TO THE WATER THAN YOUNGER PEOPLE. I’ve had six weeks of continuous diarrhea. Now getting under control with two prescriptions from my doctor. To ask a simple question… Do you think I’m going to order these knock off filters again???? I sincerely hope that before you buy these filters you will take the time to read the 1’s, the 2’s and the threes. They all complain of the same thing.! You’ll be grateful you did and you’ll save a lot of aggravation…….And if you have a sensitive G.I. system, maybe even some illness.

I wish I had bought the 6 pak now that I know the taste is as good as Brita. My only gripe is the soaking it for 15 minutes then filling up your jug and dumping it 3x (such a waste of water to be sure the filter is cleared out). I only dumped it twice to be honest and made sure to pour it all on my plants out side my kitchen door. Other than that, I will be buying this brand again IF the water filters last a couple months each (like Brita).

While the AQUA CREST filter replacements for Brita did last as long as advertised, I was disappointed to experience a decline in water quality before they were due for replacement. I might explore alternative filter options in the future to see if I can find a more reliable solution for my water purification needs. If you have relatively clean tap water, these filters might work well for you, but if your water quality is questionable, you might want to consider other alternatives. On the positive side, AQUA CREST filter replacements are reasonably priced compared to other options on the market.

I'm super picky when it comes to how water tastes (so much so that it annoys others), and I can confidently say that these filters work well! Name brand filters are so pricey in comparison, so I'm glad there's a cheaper alternative out there

These filters do a great job filtering the water. Water always taste fresh. I do not buy bottled water. The sticker that comes in box allows you to keep up when it is time to replace the filter (every three months). I love them

These filters fit my older Brita dispenser, not a pitcher. They seem to produce good tasting water, so far. I don't know how long they will last, but they do not flow as fast as the originals. Still a good value.
