- Instant Hot Water for One Point of Use: Designed for a single sink or similar low-flow application, this 4500W, 220240V electric tankless water heater heats water on demand without storing a tank of hot water. Under suitable inlet-water temperature and flow conditions, hot water can begin reaching the outlet in about 3 seconds. The adjustable 85131F range makes it suitable for handwashing, kitchen prep, bathroom sinks and selected laundry or commercial handwashing stations. It is not intended for whole-house or multiple-bathroom use.
- Up to 99.8% Thermal Efficiency with Self-Modulation: Achieving up to 99.8% thermal efficiency, the self-modulating system activates only when water flows and adjusts power according to real-time flow and temperature conditions. This on-demand operation avoids the standby heat loss associated with traditional storage tanks and helps reduce unnecessary electricity use. Actual energy consumption depends on household usage, inlet-water temperature, selected outlet temperature and flow rate.
- LED Touch Control in an Ultra-Compact Under-Sink Design: Adjust the outlet temperature using the responsive LED touch display. The compact body measures approximately 8.7" 6.5" 2.6", making it easy to position under a sink or on a nearby wall where space is limited. Its small footprint is suited to apartments, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry areas, salons, cafes and other single-outlet applications where fast local hot water is more important than whole-home capacity.
- 240V Hardwired Installation with Clear Electrical Requirements: This unit requires a dedicated 220240V hardwired circuit, a 30A double-pole breaker and 12 AWG copper wire. The 1/2" NPT water connections simplify integration with compatible plumbing. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician and plumber in accordance with local codes. Confirm the home's electrical service, breaker capacity, grounding and water-line arrangement before purchase; this is not a plug-in appliance.
- Multi-Layer Safety and Durable System: Built for dependable indoor use, the heater includes over-temperature protection, dry-burn protection, leakage protection and an anti-electric-wall safety design that helps isolate electrical risk. The cast-aluminum heating assembly supports corrosion resistance and long-term heat transfer performance, while the compact water path helps reduce stored-water volume. My first ever review after 1 month. Apus Tankless Water Heater 240V, 4500 Watt. Product was packaged very well and looks well made with quality materials. Was used on a kitchen sink 100 feet from the home water heater. Never got hot water in the sink before installing Apus. Had a non-standard installation and got a person at their customer service first call. They reviewed my application asking for some pictures and tests. They called back multiple times without me ever having to call again. Very happy with the product and their customer service is excellent. Definitely would buy again,

Water connection problem.

Problem i had was the installation!!! The hot water outlet pipe has some kind of restrictor/flow meter in plastic stuck into the very end of the pipe. This makes attaching a standard faucet 1/2 " fib to fib braided hose impossible. No where in the user manual or installation guide is it mentioned that u cant use that type of hose. To get around it i had to purchase from Lowes.com a 1/2 Mib to 1/2 Fib adapter $5 each. I bought two one for inlet as well as outlet. It wasn't that difficult but in my area neither ace hardware or home depot carry the adapter. None of them had a braided sink hose that would work. It as least should be mentioned in the user manual or on their installation video. Customer service was prompt in that i got to speak with a human but she didnt have any answer and had me take pictures and email them to her. She then forwarded it to their engineering group and i got an answer early the next morning. Their answer was to purchase a "flat" insides hose to use on it. They should have at least mentioned this in their manual or included it in the sale. Now that i have it installed it turned on easily and provided hot water at the setting i chose 120 degrees farenheit. So that is good, tho ive only had it installed for one day. Word of caution also is that the restrictor in the inlet pipe slows to about half what i used to have, and my home is already low on water pressure. If i had good pressure i guess i wouldn't mind that. My wife says "thats ok". Apus customer service took care of the installation problem and the heater itself is working perfectly. Great product for the price.

This water heater rocks! (if you set your expectations properly)

I am using this water heater for a laundry washing machine in a shed. Not what the likely intent of the heater is. It did not noticeably slow filling of the washer, which I was concerned about. Now I have warm water... 4.5kW is not a lot of power for a tankless water heater. I did reach out to customer service because of the flow concern and they responded quickly.
