I installed on my Honda Pilot 2019 myself. The product material quality is good but measurement is not. 3 bracket members out of 6 matches properly. The other 3 were quite eccentric with car’s mounting hole. I bought round files to make the bracket holes bigger to fit with car. The bolt quality is not so good. Automotive bolts should be of corrosion resistant but it looks those will be corroded over time. Running board is looking great and working well so far. Pros: Good for kids and elders. Looks nice. Cons: My car gets stuck in most automatic car wash. ... show more

I ordered these for my new 2018 Honda Pilot. They shipped quickly. My husband and I had never installed anything like this before, but the instructions and YouTube video looked pretty easy so we were hopeful. At first, we tried to install them in our driveway but he couldn't get enough room underneath to get to the screw holes. So, thankfully, we found a friend with a jack and safety blocks and he was able to get underneath it enough to get them installed. Everything lined up perfectly!     • 2019 Honda Pilot EX-L rear bracket holes do no line up properly.
Others have stated that the rear bracket holes do not line up correctly for the 2019 Honda Pilot EX-L. They were correct. I had to drill them out about a 16th of an inch larger to get those particular brackets to line up. Otherwise it went well and it’s a very well made running board and looks great. ... show more

I compared this APS Polished FLAT-STYLE running boards with TAC running boards. Finally I chose this APS one for 2019 Pilot EX-L, because it looks nicer and sturdier. Originally I thought it is made of a piece of 1.6” thick aluminum with black rubber cover and strip like other APS running boards, but it is NOT. As seen in attached photos, all black parts are black aluminum, not rubber, and a whole board looks made of a piece of thin aluminum, except for both edges. Despite that, the board itself is very sturdy and nice looking. However, the main problem is the rear bracket for the drivers side doesn’t line up, slightly off (see a photo), so I couldn’t insert one of two bolts. With only one bolt, the board is not secure when I step up on the edge of the board. The rear bracket for the passenger side is somehow fine. I will contact the seller to ask if they can send me a replacement bracket with bigger holes. Another con: The position of the boards can be adjusted toward inside or far side of the car. However, because the black strip is made of metal, the boards must be positioned only at the farthest side. Otherwise it makes scratches on the car body. As seen in attached photos, the edges of the board are tight fits. And at the middle of the boards, there is a space between the board and the car, which doesn’t look nice.     • Better than expected!
I have to admit, when we ordered these, I wasn’t sure of the quality. Got them last weekend and my husband installed them both in about 30 minutes. They are awesome. The supporting brackets are made of a heavy metal and withstand a lot of weight. I had been having trouble with my hip and getting in and out of the car was painful. These have solved that problem. Quick and easy to install, the rear passenger side Molding bracket screw Is a bit off. I was able to put it in by securing the top screw and forced flexed the metal sideways until the hole gets lined up to the pilot hole. Use #10 and 13 ratcheting socket wrench for an easy install.
