Another “went out on a limb” purchase. I can honestly say, this setting spray is a great product. It’s a bit pricey for my taste, I typically buy all my makeup from the drugstore, but paired with the charlotte tilbury foundation it’s a fantastic duo! My makeup was like cement and didn’t budge at all from the time I applied it to the time I showered! I do recommend applying the setting spray to your bare face first prior to applying your foundation and then applying it again after your all done applying your full makeup look. Scent is very light and smells good in my opinion. No skin irritation has occurred in my experience and I personally have very sensitive skin. I recently purchased this specifically to lock in makeup for a film shoot where I needed to completely cover a dark forearm tattoo. The makeup application involved multiple layers of color correction, coverage products, powder, and setting techniques, and I was concerned about transfer, fading, or breakdown during a long day outdoors in the sun. This spray exceeded every expectation. After applying my makeup and finishing with Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, the tattoo coverage stayed intact throughout the entire shoot. I experienced virtually no transfer onto clothing, and the makeup maintained its appearance despite hours outside in the heat and sunlight. OUTSTANDING especially for the price. I've heard this product talked about for several years and finally decided to try it with Sweat Season imminent. It does set my makeup which is why I bought it, but an unexpected result is that it really does smooth out my larger nose pores (which I am very self conscience about), dials down my rosacea, and gives my face an overall glow. PLEASE TAKE SOME OF THESE OTHER REVIEWS with a grain of salt; this product is not sticky or tacky in any way, does not "freeze facial hair" lol, and dries very quickly. Hands down but setting spray I've ever used. I have oily acne prone skin and my makeup just slides off my face with every other product. Not with this stuff. My makeup is flawless until I wash my face before bed. Goes on in a very fine mist and smells amazing.
