Liked the look of the running boards. They seem well built. Powder coat could be better but its not horrible. Biggest downfall is that these mount to the rocker panels using clip nuts. Nothing wrong with this, if you want to put unnecessary stress on your rocker panels. Passenger side middle bracket doesn't fit as described, I have a horrible vibration sound on my Passenger side now. I plan to modify these to mount to the frame instead of mounting to the rocker panels. ... show more

I've been a first time mechanic for a lot of things. Tie Rods, (inner and outer) brakes, rotors, sway bars, radiators, tune ups, throttle body removal, alternator, starter. But I tell you, none of them took as long as these to set up. The instructions provided left me feeling not so brite. (Spelt wrong purposely.) I could not make head or tail of them. So, I sat there for an hour trying to figure out what went where. And there were no videos to refer to. After trying to figure out how the brackets fit to the rocker panel and not having a clue, I finally attached them to the runners first and then and only then was I able to figure it out, after four hours. Perhaps you will be smarter than me and will make sense of them sooner but if you have never done anything like it before then good luck. I like the look they give to my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT extended cab. If this is your vehicle as well then they will fit. Left some clues as to how the brackets should go. Quality product. I didn't get to install yet, (due to truck not repaired from crash yet) but they are really nice. Heavy duty. Like the middle step idea. Glad I purchased.

So far so good! Alright I just received the running boards. I will add photos and updates. They were packaged extremely well! Everything was bubble wrapped and taped. No scratches. They are very well put together and seem to be solid! They are not heavy, but seem well manufactured. Again I will update in 30 days. Also wanted to mention that the directions are not the best... Great product so far, no instructions to speak of really of. Install brackets on truck first keeping them loose it'll make it much easier. Front right bracket is tricky but patience will make you a winner

You have to remove your mudflaps or modify to fit. But what makes me rate them low is when you stand on them they flex far to much it feels like you're going to break it. You also tend to clip your chin on them alot.
