  • Great mouse for everyday use
Style: USB-C Color: White
The Apple Magic Mouse has a sleek design, smooth tracking, and excellent battery life. The touch gestures make navigating macOS simple and intuitive, and it pairs seamlessly with Apple devices. Great choice for everyday use and productivity, battery life is great and it super natural to use.

  • Great little Mac mouse.
Style: USB-C Color: White
Despite mixed reviews, I went for it as no other Mac-compatible mouse I found has the same functionality. I’ve had the same mouse before and was surprised to see the mixed reviews. Is it overpriced? YES. It’s Apple. But, it functions exactly as I need and works well. Size is perfect for me. So far ZERO connection issues with my Mac Studio. Works well with Apple’s apps. I expect it will work until the battery eventually dies or they deprecate its support. ... show more

  • Good ergonomics, eliminates need for disposable batteries
Style: USB-C Color: White
I've used a replaceable battery version of the Apple bluetooth mouse for years. It is a great device, but after many years of use, it has been getting progressively harder to pop open the battery compartment. Plus I was using a lot of disposable lithium batteries. This rechargeable version just plugs into your computer to charge without any need to open a plate on the bottom of the mouse. The MacOS gives a readout of the mouse's charge status under the Bluetooth icon at the top of the screen. I haven't had mine for that long, but it seems to be retaining its charge well. One downside is that the charging port is on the bottom of the mouse, so you have to plan ahead to choose a time to charge the mouse when you are not using your computer. The other downside is that when you exhaust the charge cycles, the mouse will no longer be functional and will need to be discarded. Obviously it is too soon to know the number of charge cycles I will get out of the mouse. Otherwise, the ergonomics are just as good as the earlier disposable battery version and it appears as if it will not need to be charged very frequently. ... show more

  • Works great
Style: USB-C Color: White
I have gone through several "mice" over the decades and finally decided to get the Apple Magic Mouse to go with my MAC and external Apple keyboard. It didn't disappoint at all. It is sleek and does not have a wheel to scroll with. Instead you use your finger! It seems strange at first, but you will get used to it quickly. I charged it up when I got it and it holds a charge for weeks. To find out how much of the charge is remaining on the mouse I go to my settings menu and then click on bluetooth. There you will see the percentage left. ... show more

  • Do you believe in magic?
Style: USB-C Color: White
The Magic Mouse is a sleek, minimalist mouse that looks gorgeous on the desk and fits right into the Apple ecosystem. It pairs instantly with the MacBook Neo, and once it’s connected, it just works — no drivers, no fuss. The multi‑touch surface is the standout feature: you can swipe between desktops, scroll smoothly through long pages, and use simple gestures that feel very natural if you’re already used to a Mac trackpad. Ergonomically, it’s definitely more style than comfort. The low profile can feel a bit flat during long workdays, especially if you prefer a mouse with more of a curve or palm support. It’s perfect for light to moderate daily use, but heavy users or people prone to wrist strain might want something more contoured. Functionally, it shines for everyday productivity and creative work. The tracking is precise, scrolling is super smooth, and gestures are a nice bonus for multitasking across multiple monitors. The downside everyone talks about is the charging design—since the port is on the bottom, you can’t use it while it’s charging, which is pretty inconvenient if it dies in the middle of your day. The good news is that a quick charge lasts a long time, so topping it off periodically becomes a habit. If you love Apple’s clean aesthetic and enjoy gesture‑based navigation, the Magic Mouse is a great companion to your setup. If comfort and all‑day ergonomics are your top priority, it might be worth pairing the with a more traditional mouse instead. ... show more

  • Great Mac productivity mouse, but I still use a regular mouse for CAD Great Mac productivity mouse, but I still use a regular mouse for CAD
Style: USB-C Color: Black
I originally had mixed feelings about the Magic Mouse, but the USB-C version changed my opinion. I bought mine used for around $80, but it looked basically new, and the glide was immediately better than the older Lightning version I tried. The older one had worn feet and scratches, which made it feel slower and more clunky. This newer USB-C model feels much smoother, faster, and more premium. I also added aftermarket feet over the original feet. In the gaming mouse community, these are usually called skates, and I am used to replacing them because they wear down with daily use. For me, this was worth doing because glide matters a lot. The added skates made the mouse feel even smoother and helped protect the original feet. The trade-off is that it slightly changes the stock feel, so not everyone needs to do it, but if you care about glide, the condition of the feet matters a lot. The biggest strength of the Magic Mouse is the macOS experience. The gestures, scrolling, horizontal scrolling, swiping between pages, switching desktops, and Mission Control all feel extremely natural. I currently use around 8 desktops on my Mac for school, web browsing, documents, AnyDesk, Parsec, and other software, and this mouse makes managing all of that much easier. Swiping between desktops and moving through pages feels effortless compared to a normal mouse. The glass surface also feels very premium, almost like using a MacBook trackpad in mouse form. Scrolling through documents, app notes, datasheets, Finder folders, and web pages feels much smoother than a traditional scroll wheel. Once I added BetterMouseTool for extra customization, the experience became even better. That said, this is not the mouse I would use for everything. When I am working in KiCad, I still switch back to my Logitech GPX 2 because a traditional lightweight mouse is better for precise work and quick adjustments. I have not tried it yet with Revit or AutoCAD, which I will be using during my internship, but I expect it will be similar. Because of that, I still plan to carry a regular mouse, likely my GPX 1, in my backpack as my actual work mouse. For lighter work, browsing, document reading, desktop management, and general Mac productivity, the Magic Mouse is excellent. For computer-aided design, gaming, or anything that needs fast and precise mouse control, I would still want a traditional mouse. But as a Mac productivity mouse, especially if you care about gestures and smooth scrolling, this is one of the best accessories I have used. ... show more

  • Works smoothly and very responsive
Style: USB-C Color: White
My old Apple mouse was really glitchy and not responsive any more because it was so old but I did use it for many years. It may have been from when my kids were in high school so at least 8 years old. Anyway it was time to get a new one and this one is great. It works like a dream especially compared to the old one and was easy to set up and start using. There is a charging cord that you can just plug in to the computer and you're good to go. Not sure about how long the charge lasts but easy enough to plug in while you're working if you have to. The mouse works smoothly and have had zero issues with connectivity. The weight and feel of it are very pleasant and if the old mouse is any indication, this mouse will be just as sturdy and long lasting. As always, Apple products are designed beautifully and look and feel sleek. ... show more

  • Check Your Operating System First
Style: USB-C Color: Black
I'm sure the mouse is fine but I've given it only 3 stars because I didn't find anywhere in the write up when I purchased it that it does not work correctly with my operating system. I have Mac Sonoma. It does work with Tahoe OS but I'm not sure about Sequoia OS. The scrolling feature does not work, nor battery level notification. Would have been nice to know these important details to begin with. I tried "Check Compatibility" but didn't get anywhere....wasn't working for me. ... show more
