  • Awesome Equipment!
I have always wanted an iMac computer, and I’m so glad I bit the bullet and got one. For an older model, it feels and looks brand new. I am an Apple person, and have all Apple products (i.e., iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc.). The only thing missing was my desktop computer. I’d been using a broken-down PC that worked like I’d found it in a dumpster somewhere. Recently, my printer stopped connecting to WIFI, and nothing I did to troubleshoot ever worked. Something told me that it wasn’t the printer that needed replacing, but the PC itself. As soon as I hooked up my new iMac, my printer was working properly again. Apple is ALWAYS worth the investment. ... show more

  • I am glad to have gotten this.
I was glad to get this a few months back to replace an older Mac, now able to perform necessary tasks, however having been a bit behind in using a newer model, I’ve needed to become acquainted with updated aspects of. Having mostly been using an iPad mini while replacement of the computer was inevitable, when seeing a good price on, I couldn’t pass it up, the iMac allowing for more functions than the iPad mini. My disappointment was being sent a (non-Apple) keyboard (extended) and mouse (in black) included with the order which I have not used, using my existing keyboard and mouse (so having wasted equipment sitting here). Though the cord attached to my keyboard doesn’t easily reach up behind the computer if using on the keyboard tray or needing a chair without arms if placing keyboard upon the desk instead, as shown. 🫤 Having considered getting a smaller keyboard and different chair. (Not being used to a wireless keyboard, I’ve not considered). Anyway, the bottom line is, the computer arrived in excellent condition, having almost immediately updated to Monterey, so I am pleased. Yet seemingly being slightly glitchy or slow, and still having more familiarizing to do, overall, it is a relief to be able to update. ... show more

Looks great and works, had apple ventura on it, it is slow, but with patience you do get things done. All in all a good pc for a good price.

  • Awesome Speed
I enjoy this 2017 Mac Desktop everyday. Great for music, internal speakers are awesome. I needed a better computer during the current pandemic, and this was a great buy. For work, it's awesome for storing tons of files, being that it has 800 gigs, or I think it does lol. Now, there are some momentary crashes on apps that will happen (imovie, garageband, itunes). For example, high res games like Asphalt 9, is almost too fast. It won't allow you to play at all, at least in my experience. You can make reports to Apple on this bug/crash situations, but afterwards there's nothing much you can do. Overall, I love the sleek design, and light weight nature of it. Keyboard and mouse work great, and I had no issues transferring all of my data from my old mac, into this one. Internet speed is awesome, and did I mention that Garageband 10 is killer smooth? I'm a musician, and I was delighted that I could connect my Spider V30 to this computer. You may have to figure out the best audio options for your sound, because with Mac, you can't escape white noise lol!! All I can say is, the ultimate buy for 700 bucks. I don't know how much it is now, but you won't regret buying it if you can't afford any other expensive models. ... show more

  • Maybe be refurbed, but def not refurbed ENOUGH!
I bought this imac 4 months ago. Pretty good price. I'm into month 4 of purchase and this thing is all over the map. It's enlarged itself and I have to scroll manually from side to side to even read anything. I'm really disappointed with the performance and the awful look of the screen, plus all the time I spend scrolling from side to side just to be able to get any work done. Also, while reading my email on protonmail, the entire top of the screen has a complete line of strange icons that appear to be like little purple blocks. I've bought several refurbs in the past few years and have had good experiences but not wiith this one. ... show more

  • Quality, happy with purchase
Great value. I purchased this after buying an LG monitor and tried to use it with my 2017 Macbook. The pixels were fuzzy, the translation wasn't great. So I opted to take a chance and buy this refurbished Mac. Like new out of box. Gave it a software update macOS Monterey 12.4. Took a while to transfer everything- I use a combo of outlook, google, chrome. I'm still adjusting. It's great to have a nice big beautiful desktop. How was I working on an 11in macbook on spreadsheets and presentations for so long? this is a game changer. It's silly to complain about the keyboard and mouse that I see in so many review. Spend the money and get your self an apple keyboard and mouse. It's apple after all. I'm still adjusting the screen and contrast- hoping to get a sharper pixle. I actually think I may need new glasses for my eyes, to adjust to this screen. I will be reaching out to tech support and will update this review when it is adjusted. I'm really satisfied. It's this for $300+ or $1500 for a new mac desktop. Again, a fantastic option. I'm happy with my purchase. UPDATE FEB 2023: upgraded to ventura and it has become very slow. I understand that this model 2017-2019 Flash drive../ Hard drive has a physical spinning disk 2017 - that’s all they had and doesn't perform as optimally as it should. The expert at the Apple genius bar suggested going to a 3rd party Apple repair to update the hard drive storage to a “Solid State drive” It is at the apple store right now - they are downgrading back to BIG Sur to see if it will perform better. I'll check the cost on that. If that service costs less than $300 I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll be in the market for a new mini mac with 10 core graphics card and buy a moniter. mini macs are @ $600 plus the cost of a monitor: $200-300. Or, the new 24 inch $1200. The resolution never really improved either on this one.. light on the pixels. I still don't regret purchasing this at the time, it worked for my needs for a while for something under $500. ... show more
