Dear Sir Shortly after my son began using the iPod there was an intermittent problem with the earbud plugs giving a full sound. We changed earbuds and it seemed to work better but now has completely stopped functioning. I realize this is past the 30 day return policy but since it is defective can it be returned for a replacement ? The only thing that tells us it's not brand new is a few surface scratches on the screen. Other than that it looks great. We've only had it for a day, and so far it sounds crisp and clear. The controls work as expected (i.e. volume). My husband is very happy with it!

I purchased this iPod in February 2025. Just recently, when I was removing it from the charger, the glass was separated from the device. The device has never been dropped or mishandled, so I suspect the battery may have overheated, causing the issue. Unfortunately, the product is now outside the return window. I also purchased Asurion insurance, but the claim was denied because they said it should be covered by Apple. However, Apple won’t cover it either, as it’s a refurbished item that I purchased. I’m very disappointed and feel that others should be aware of this situation before buying from this seller. ... show more

I'm still and Ipod guy. (BTW, have heard that Apple is phasing out Itunes in the next few years). My older Ipods have gone bad, and can't be fixed. I've taken a chance on refurbished ones before, but not often happy (the batteries won't take a charge, or they are not compatible with my library). This one seems to work just fine. Holds a good 4-6 hours of continuing play, stays charged for a week w/o use, and synchs well with my computer's Itunes library. ... show more
