This is a new style that is very similar to an older style that I have loved for years. I have the older style in both black & navy. I needed a pair in brown or tan so this fit my need. This shoe is a true Medium/B width and I wear a 10 A or 10AA so it is a tiny bit too wide. I wear toe covers (see photo) to fill the extra space. To compare old & new styles: this new style a) covers a little more of the foot, b) the strap and back counter come up a little higher on my ankle (which I don’t like) and c) it’s 1/4” longer in length so it’s nice for my long toes. Overall I prefer the old style for fit, comfort & there was no need to break in the leather, but the new style is a good alternative. The leather is good quality, the sole & heel wear a really long time & the brown/tan color goes with many things. The only improvement I suggest to Clarks is to add more arch support and to allow the strap to be pulled 1/2” tighter . I hope this is helpful. ... show more

Way cuter in person than they are online. I usually wear a 10 - 10 1/2 wide and they fit really good. They also have the little added padding by the back of the heel at the top so it doesn't cut into your heel. It has real grip on the bottom, not the fake stuff but stuff that actually grips to the ground because I hate to slip when I walk I'm not impressed easy but I am impressed with these. Someone else I'm when the review said that they're really comfortable and they are absolutely telling the truth. These things are fabulous. ... show more

I literally had these shoes delivered overnight to wear to a family member’s funeral. I have never bought shoes online because my feet are hard to fit and I always choose comfort over fashion. I’ll wear sneakers with a ball gown if the pretty shoes hurt my feet. As an educator, I’ve worn Clarks before in 8.5” and they all fit comfortably, so I ordered these and I am glad to say they fit 100% right out of the box. I usually have to wear inserts and bandage my feet, but I was amazed I didn’t have to do anything. The best surprise was the strap!!!!!!!!! I didn’t notice there was no buckling involved when I ordered. I always have hot spots on my pinky toes. I blister in the same place every time. I did feel a hot spot forming on my right pinky toe after a couple hours, but sitting during the funeral service was enough time for the pain to go away. I had these shoes on for 10 hours!!!! I want to love these, they are cute and comfy, but have a design flaw... The "scratchy" part of the velcro is exposed since I don't tighten the strap as far as it can go. I can't return them since I missed the window once I realized how often I was scratching my skin and/or stockings (by crossing my ankles) when seated while wearing them. Annoying and ruining my stockings. CLARK'S - Put the scratchy part of the velcro on the STRAP so it disappears when fastened, not on the shoe part! ... show more
