Extremely Useful for Capturing Important Conversations. The PLAUD Note Pro has become an extremely useful tool in my work. I frequently have long conversations with individuals that dive deeply into a lot of details, and realistically, it can be difficult to recall everything accurately by the end of a meeting. Being able to record those conversations and then review them afterward has been incredibly helpful for making sure I capture the pertinent details I need for documentation and future follow-up. Probably my favorite feature is the AI summary. Instead of having to go back through an entire lengthy conversation, it consolidates everything into a concise, organized summary that I can quickly review. That feature alone has saved me a tremendous amount of time. The transcription accuracy has also been impressive. I've used it in several different environments—from one-on-one conversations in an office to recording a message in a large auditorium—and it has performed remarkably well in both. Battery life is excellent, and the magnetic holder that keeps the unit attached to the back of my phone is extremely convenient. I haven't used it to record phone calls yet, so I can't comment on that functionality. There are a couple of areas I think could be improved. The included 300 monthly transcription minutes aren't always enough for my needs, and I find the cost of purchasing additional minutes more than I'm willing to pay. Considering the price of the device itself, I really feel that more monthly minutes should be included. I've also had a couple of instances where I pressed the button to stop a recording and felt the double vibration indicating that it had stopped, only to discover later that it had continued recording. I'm still learning all the nuances of the device, so I can't rule out user error, but it is something I've experienced and now make a point of double-checking. Overall, though, I love the PLAUD Note Pro and find it tremendously useful. If your work involves conversations, meetings, interviews, or presentations where you need to accurately capture information for documentation or future reference, this is an excellent tool. The combination of reliable recording, accurate transcription, and especially the summary feature has made it a valuable part of my workflow.

Exceeded all expectations

I have used the Plaud Note Pro device for a few days now and have been blown away by the capabilities of this tiny little device. I don’t remember the last review on a product I wrote, but this little thing is so good I felt compelled to share. Clear recording and the best AI note summaries I have seen across any platform, this thing is worth its weight in gold if you use it right and in the correct setting. One of my favorite features is the AI suggestions given based on issues identified during meetings, and the clear to-do check list that you can check off in-app, all done automatically. With the push of a button to start/stop, it couldn’t be easier. I was especially impressed when I took it to a car dealership and recorded the interaction of buying a car. There was loud-ish music playing (with clear lyrics), but the device identified that as background noise/music and it wasn’t included in the notes summary afterwards. One feature I didn’t realize it had prior to purchase is that you can use the desktop app to record virtual meetings, so if you are in a public place and don’t want to blast meeting audio, you can record the meeting virtually with headphones for the same effect. As soon as you enter a virtual meeting, the desktop app will pop up asking if you want to record. Overall, this thing has exceeded all of my expectations and if you work in a corporate environment, it is incredibly useful.

One of the best purchases I’ve made for work

Five stars without hesitation. I use the PLAUD Note Pro constantly for work, and it has completely changed how I handle meetings and conversations. It’s super light weight you don’t even know it’s on your phone. The recording quality is excellent, but the real value is what happens afterward. Instead of trying to take detailed notes while also paying attention to a conversation, I can stay focused on the meeting and let PLAUD capture everything. Having the recording transcribed and summarized afterward saves me a ridiculous amount of time. The AI summaries are especially useful. They pull out the important discussion points, decisions, and action items without forcing me to go back through an entire recording. I also love being able to search through previous conversations when I need to remember exactly what was discussed. It’s compact enough that I barely notice carrying it, the controls are simple, and starting a recording takes seconds. Battery life has also been excellent for my day-to-day use. There is an ongoing cost if you need more transcription time than what’s included with your plan, which is worth knowing before buying. For me, the amount of time it saves easily justifies it. If you spend a lot of your day in meetings, interviews, sales calls, or any situation where good notes matter, this is an incredibly useful tool. I’ve tried plenty of productivity gadgets that eventually end up sitting in a drawer. This isn’t one of them. I use it constantly.

Wish i had bought this sooner

It's rare nowadays that a product delights you (hardware and software), and on top of that, the customer service teams still care deeply about customer value and doing what's right. The mic system is truly phenomenal in being able to discern various speakers. I've used it in meetings in large conference rooms with 8-10 speakers and the device was able to discern the various voices correctly. The hardware is built nicely and high build-quality/fun to hold. Additinoally, very intuitive that the case attaches to the back of your phone, and even designed to record calls better. It's super rare today that a software, firmware, hardware, and accessories/case teams all work together so well. This product is useful for product work i do, and better yet, even inspiring on how products should feel. I had a hardware issue (partly my fault) and they didn't create any fuss in getting a replacement sent my way quickly and i was back online with a week. I hope this company never sells to private equity or whatever happens when products grow and get en-ish-ified. This product helps discipline around note-taking from online meetings (eg. granola) to in-person meetings too, so i've got a consistent log to jog my memory, allowing me to be present and creative during the meetings.

Excellent Tool for Meetings and Staying Organized

I’ve really enjoyed using my PLAUD recorder. As a manager with several meetings and one-on-ones throughout the week, it has made it much easier to stay engaged in conversations without worrying about writing down every detail. The recordings are clear, and the transcription and AI-generated summaries help me quickly review what was discussed, identify important takeaways, and create follow-up tasks. It has become a valuable part of my daily workflow and helps me stay organized and accountable. I’ve used it frequently since purchasing it, and it has saved me a considerable amount of time. Great Voice Recorder

Today, I tried The Plaud Note Pro AI Voice Recorder for the first time. So far so good. I really appreciate the thoroughness, detail, and simplicity of the AI feature. The device has a small footprint, almost the size of a card. I appreciate the option of having a MagSafe holder for the Note Pro. Connecting to my iPhone was easy and the microphones allow for clear sounds. Battery life is good too. One main issue I have is Plaud Note Pro does not have a talk to wake feature. While I like the simplicity of the device (just turn on and go about you day/meeting), just leaving it on will significantly brain the battery. I would like the option to use talk to wake. Simple is good, but options are better. Overall, I enjoy this device: it’s simple to use, thorough AI, and small footprint. I can’t wait to see additional features for the Plaid Note Pro AI Voice Recorder.

Worth the money!!!

This is a great device to assist in daily interactions, without the need of writing everything down. When it's on, it is listening to all conversations and logging it accordingly. I did commit to the unlimited subscription due to the level of service and interactions I have as a service provider with multiple customers. I have been extremely hesitant to utilize any AI products for my service visits and have always done it the old fashion way by writing it down in my notebook. Plaud was recommended by a coworker and I blew it off for months... I finally purchased it with and am so impressed. Highly recommend.

Excellent AI Recorder — Simple, Reliable, and Very Useful

I’ve been extremely impressed with the PLAUD Note Pro. The device is thin, lightweight, and easy to keep attached to the back of my phone, but what really stands out is how simple it is to use. When I need to record a meeting or phone call, I can start recording in seconds and let PLAUD handle the rest. The phone-call recording works surprisingly well. It can clearly capture both sides of the conversation without requiring speakerphone, and the transcription and AI summaries make it much easier to go back and find important details, decisions, and action items. I also appreciate that it isn’t constantly recording. It stays ready in a low-power standby state, and I only record when I intentionally start it. Battery life has been excellent, and the display makes it easy to confirm that a recording is actually in progress. For meetings, phone calls, project discussions, and keeping track of important information, this has quickly become one of the most useful productivity tools I own. If you spend a lot of time in meetings or on calls and want an easier way to capture and organize what was discussed, I highly recommend the PLAUD Note Pro.
