I received the unit, charged it and recorded several different conversations. I could not get it to connect to my iPhone. I did get it to connect to my laptop, downloaded and listened to the files. The voice quality was adequate. I used the Amazon chat feature; the Amazon CS person read and understood my issues. He connected me with the messaging system to the vendor. I sent a note and screen shots. I described what iPhone and Ios I had. The vendor's customer service person response immediately asked what Ios I had on my phone, clearly indicating they didn't read my message. They suggested I keep turning the voice recorder off and on, many times, to see if it would connect. This response was unprofessional. There is no app I could download to facilitate retrieving and listening to the recorded files. They depend on an Apple feature ("Files"). I don't have the desire to be their guinea pig while they try to work out the bugs in their product. I am returning it tomorrow.

The directions are written in microscopic print. I put on glasses, AND used a magnifying glass. Finally, I used YouTube videos and the AI for product questions on Amazon. I still have a few more things to learn (turning down ambient sound-there is not setting for this on my computer per the instructions) and using the teeny tiny button on the side. I think it’s for voice-activation v. continually activated? The battery life is awesome and discretion a plus - that is apparently while the features are so tiny. If I could read the directions I would have bumped it up to a 4-star. Also, I think it was a return because there was some crazy music files.

I keep this voice recorder in my laptop bag, making it incredibly convenient for recording meetings or conversations discreetly. All i needed to do is slide a single button to "on," and it starts recording instantly, so a very quick setup. The strong magnet on the device allows me to attach it to a metal surface, ensuring it stays in place during meetings, and eliminating any chance of it being knocked around (something I've found happens all too often with other recorders, causing recordings to be taken from the floor). With 128GB memory and a long-lasting battery, I have never had to worry about running out of storage or power. I've successfully recorded 6 hours of audio without any issues. Connecting to a computer is a easy, and had no trouble transferring the recorded files to my Mac (I'm told Windows compatibility is also available). The voice activation feature is optional, and while I can see its usefulness in certain situations,. I prefer to keep it off. The AI noise reduction function appears to work as intended. In summary, this recorder meets all the advertised specifications and performs well. There's little room for improvement; it simply works as intended.
