When I initially opened the box I first noticed it was a small white box inside of and Amazon box and I was like that's great double boxed,but As I opened the white box I saw the 3rd party seller took no extra effort in boxing up the Ipad. It was in a flimsy plastic sleeve and then some bubble wrap around it and it just moved all around in the box so no stability.When I unwrapped it I nearly broke out in tears. There were gouges in the metal and chips of metal missing. At least 3 dents on the back and scraps and scratches and gouges down all sides. Trust me I expected a little scratch here or there but It looked to me as though it had been dropped several times by the previous owner or someone threw it down concrete stairs and this 3rd party shop... (Kiss Electronics NYC)still sent it out. The screen was immaculate so it was probably replaced. I couldn't even turn it on because it arrived with no battery life and I placed it on charge for an hour and it would not charge. So I called the AMAZING customer service at Amazon and I'm sending it back and getting a refund and I'll be ordering another Ipad from another 3rd party vendor on Amazon. I take this experience as absolutely NO reflection on Amazon. We are prime members and we absolutely love Amazon. Overall condition was good. The battery has never held a charge. It is supposed to be at least 80% health but they deleted the app so you can’t tell. I’m less than 2 years into this one and it will shut randomly shut down now. Get the warranty and plan on staying plugged in.
