Don’t get me wrong, fantastic device. The only problem for me that would be worth a star or two itself is there is NO HOME BUTTON. I knew this going in and I always have the accessibility option for an on-screen “button” enabled. I really only wanted this for the second gen pen pineapple Apple Pen…cil. I decided to get the 4 instead of the 5 because from what I read the spec differences were not worth the cost. The new processor differences weren’t worth the 200 dollar difference. REFURBISHED, MODEL DIFFERENCES- I got a refurbished, it was absolutely perfect. The charging cable was actually longer. I found a returned Apple Pencil 2 for 65 dollars, was able to max out the specs on this one for the same price as the new air 5 stock standard. The colors on this gen are super boring, but it’s always in a case so who cares. STORAGE- You can put so many apps on this that run perfectly. I’ve never seen it have a problem. KEYBOARD— The new keyboard is odd. I still haven’t quite figured it out yet. Passwords are cumbersome now. Some of it doesn’t make sense and does not feel organic at all. FOR ARTISTS AND WRITERS— As an artist by hobby more than profession, the pro was just always out of reach with regards to cost. Like, ffff how many major electronics can a normal person afford in this day and age? I have no frame of reference but I can say this pencil is PHENOMENAL, it’s like using an actual pencil. The pressure and sensitivity are incredible. If you take off the nib, the tip is actually made of gold, surprisingly. I can’t stand that the only way to charge it is to magnetically attach it to the side of the device, HOWEVER, it charges 2% in about 1 minute. ... show more

I love this iPad it’s as good as new no scratches or any physical wear and tear. I accidentally purchased the sim Verizon which is a features I’m not using. But other wise the iPad is clean nice and fully functional.

The first iPad that I received was faulty, as it was only able to stay on for five minutes at a time before it crashed and restarted the entire thing. However, I was able to return it and received the replacement within a couple days of sending the original back. As in, I was shocked to find it on my doorstep, the delivery was so fast. The replacement is perfect. I can't even tell that it isn't brand new from the Apple store. My Apple pencil and drawing app, Procreate, are working great with it. I am a novice with technology!!! I know very little about devices and very skepical of buying such online. I searched and scoured the internet as well as Amazon to find the right device for my needs. I had to look up so much to understand how these devices operate, storage capacity, OS etc. I wanted to make the right choice and hopefully not waste money. I dont believe I was "over thinking" just determined to get something worth my money. Unike so many who use devices such as this for gaming, video watching, etc , I wanted something to only store all my recipes and cooking tips I have gathered over the years. And I wanted something I could view while cooking. Prior to this purchase I bought a tablet from elsewhere - big screen (11") but was uncomfortable with the bill I would have to pay!! This ipad was reasonably priced. What I did not know is that the 64gb version is all I get. Did not know I could not add storage, so buying one with more storage was obviously going to be more money. Of course if you need more, that's what icloud is for, dropbox, etc - oh my listen to me!!! But you all know what I am referring to. Go up higher if you can, especially if there's any doubt you may not have enough storage. I returned that 11" and ended up buying this air ipad. With a 10.9" screen I was happy that I still could view it and I enlarged the print within the recipe app! The screen is very clear, responsive to touch as well as resposive to the stylus pen I purchased. Not having the 11" tablet was no loss. This screen is plenty big for what I'm doing - cooking ! The apps that come preloaded are items I will not use. I have a laptop so no need to duplicate. I figured out how to pair this with my printer for scanning and it worked! I downloaded a recipe app and that worked great! I also figured out how to put my iTunes library on this ipad which was another reason I bought it - to store all my music. So for a novice device user, I am a little more knowledgable now than two weeks ago which I'm proud of. LOL. This shipment came as scheduled and packaged well. No dents or dings.
