I’m loving this Mac! I keep forgetting the wonders that Apple computers do. It’s so overhyped that people forget about its true value. Do I think it’s overrated? Maybe a little. But it’s worth it. I had been trudging along on a 2009 Mac G5 (desktop) which was experiencing significant 'slows' with the entire Microsoft suite freezing the machine and force quitting apps became my daily routine (among other issues). I watched Amazon for pricing fluctuations which I found occur often. Actually was about to pull the trigger on a great price just before Christmas and got busy with kids and the restaurant we own to come back a bit later that evening and found it had jumped $300! I was really upset at this and spent quite a bit of time with support complaining about what had happened. No dice. I kept watching, finally another large price drop on a refurbished machine and went for it. It arrived quickly (a plus as I use it for our business) in a plain cardboard box with huge bubble wrap (my daughter found this to be the best part of the purchase). All good, set up, backing up and transferring files with migration assistant and wiping my old machine and re-installing OS took a couple of over-nighters (DSL internet out here in Hill Country Texas, ugh!) but everything since has been flawless. It's super fast, the 27" screen allows for multiple windows without crowding and has gorgeous color rendition. I love no longer having my big 'desktop' unit under the desk banging my knees and it really suits my needs. I'm not a techie and coming from a 10 year old dinosaur may color my unreserved excitement at having a beautiful new Mac but there it is, for whatever its worth. d ... show more

This computer is beautiful! Late 2015 iMac model. I couldn’t be more pleased. I was scared to death because it was pre-owned. Zero issues. It was well packaged, from West coast all the way to East coast, so it couldn’t bounce around in the box, yet it was very easy to unbox. It came with the Magic Mouse 2 and keyboard, already synced. They look brand new. All I had to do was charge them both. Very easy to set up the computer. I just followed the steps. It has the smallest little ding on the base. No biggie whatsoever. See pictures. Besides that, it looks brand spanking new! Has all the specs I paid for and all of the storage. Beautiful 5K screen. I’m a happy camper. I highly recommend. Product showed up, worked fine, looked great. Then it didn’t. Ordered Dec 24 and then by May 10 th the hard drive was dead. Beware buying refurbished, and they didn’t want to help due to outside of three month warranty. My advice: buy new and get Apple care. Don’t waste time with refurbished or resellers of refurbished. ... show more

I am delighted with my purchase. The computer arrived on time and required a signature. It was packaged in a plain white (no graphics) box that was otherwise identical to the actual Apple box, with all the proper styrofoam inserts, etc. It had an original and never used Apple keyboard and mouse (both wireless). The white box was overpacked in a custom brown box and that was inside a large standard brown box. The computer looked brand new, with no visible signs of anyone ever having it unpacked before. It was the usual Apple screen protection, etc. It worked perfectly out of the box and it still does, after a few weeks. Let's hope that will continue. :-) As for the iMac 27" - it's a marvel to behold. The screen is perfect, huge, bright and contrasty. The large SSD part of the 2TB fusion drive makes for super fast start ups and wake ups. I didn't like the cheesy bluetooth keyboard and flaky bluetooth mouse and hooked up my old full size keyboard and wired mouse. Otherwise I love my new iMac! ... show more

Honestly it looks like someone has used it. Lots of fingerprints on the screen. Only the iMac arrived. There was missing items such as mouse pad, keyboard, etc. I’m gonna return it and get the one from Apple where I can trust more. Many be $400 more but it’s worth it then having this one.
