I bought this for a custom trike build. Had to get the hose replaced only because i needed a longer one. But the caliper and leaver are strong and stop me on a dime. Me and the trike together is probably about 400 pounds. This thing holds up well.

I have gone through plenty of mechanical calipers that never worked perfect to start with this comes prefilled with fluid but I recommend adding more fluid tightening the brake line on the caliper and the master and bleed the air before riding. Depending on your configuration you do not necessarily need to bolt it a heavy duty spring worked fine for this build. Make sure your caliper bleed valve is straight up or at a slant, otherwise bleed the air and use clamps before installing, you'll stop on a dime everytime. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The brake caliper and brake disc were perfect only thing I could not use were the cables since they were too short for my application but that’s my fault and besides that they are working great.

Brake kit was properly installed and brake lever was pressed, found a leak and bubble building in the sheath of the brake cable filling with brake fluid. Highly dangerous as someone could have died or got highly injured due to brake failure so always test before riding.
