She didn’t want to learn to ride a bike and was frustrated she couldn’t keep us with the fam on our outings. This was the solution. Large wheels are key to a smooth ride. The only hang up is the brake lever gets really hot, should’ve been an insulated top on it. This scooter is outright horrible in every aspect. The first issue I came across was that it’s literally impossible to fold and unfold quickly without having the unscrew the mechanism and screw it back. It’s not at all a functioning quick fold. Secondly, upon the first voyage, parts immediately came unloose and fell off such as the handle bar tightener. Third, it’s not at all really for adults. I do admit I should’ve most likely looked at the sizing a bit more however it feels very disingenuous for the company to label it as “for adults” when it’s really just a kid’s scooter that an adult CAN ride however very uncomfortably (for reference, I’m 5’3, the tallest setting had me hunched over to ride) ... show more
