I love the style. I never liked the big bulky gloves when trying to work with the hives. My only gripe is the the thumbs. The other fingers l the leather is around the tips. But the thumbs the mesh runs to the top side of the tips. Used them maybe 5 times so far and the mesh in the thumbs is fraying.

Dont even second guess it... youll be so happy you did. I just received my first pair today and not a moment to soon. I had a bee removal from a house today and knew that this was going to be the ultimate test for their first trial. Im just going to say this, the old style frumpy long sleeved gloves that are either way too big or too damn small and either way its so hard to work bees with that thick wrinkled chunk of leather thats always in the wrong place while trying to be gentle. I am soo thrilled with these gloves. Thick enough to not get nailed but yet thin enough to where you can comfortably handle bees and not have to worry about how bulky and uncomfortable the old gloves are that smash half of your bees. These will be the only gloves I will wear feom here on out!!!!

So far I’ve been happy with these gloves. Definitely needed when the bees get spicy. You’re giving up some dexterity but well worth it in a hot dearth when all the girls are home defending the honey. So far zero stings in the hands while wearing these gloves.

I bought this pair of gloves to work with my bees, after reading all the reviews on this I thought that they were pretty good! I am a diabetic and the bees generally go after me, So with all the confidence in the world with my new gloves I set out to harvest the honey, Well the gloves fits perfect but! I got stung several times through the gloves, Both through the leather parts and the back of the cloves, So in my opinion it’s a no go for me! Sorry,

We are a small commercial bee operation and have used all kinds of bee apparel. Most have pros and cons. I ordered these gloves to give better feel while working hives quickly as required in our operation. I was stung through every part of these gloves on the first real use. Through the leather fingers and wrist cuffs. I would not recommend this product.
