The media could not be loaded. I run 300 hives, so not a large operation, but not a small one either. I've tried many types of gloves over the years and even mechanics style gloves. These, as it looked from the pictures in the listing, combine the best of all worlds. I can even handle queens with these gloves on. I'm surprised just how much time it saves not having to take my gloves on and off so much. I haven't experienced any of the issues that I've read in the other reviews such as my suit sleeves not staying connected to the gloves. I can say enough about these gloves. I saw these different-looking beekeeping gloves and thought I’d take a chance on them. I am glad I did! They fit like modern mechanics gloves and I no longer need to keep taking them off to do delicate tasks. They are much cooler to wear without the attached sleeves and my bee jacket sleeves do just fine preventing stings to my arms. Very durable and have prevented all sting attempts, but they're pretty thick. I cannot use them for queen marking or anything that requires a soft touch. But, if you're pulling frames and the hive is hot they are effective, in my experience anyway.

These are high quality. I normally wear an XL glove but the way that these are made with the elastic backs they are a nit tighter than normal. I had previously gotten a pair of these in XL and of the lighter (white) leather. There is a bit of a difference in the two, and not just the size. The white ones seem to be a bit more supple. The tan ones maybe slightly thicker. Both are very high quality in materials and in construction. Both are very sensitive and without restriction. These are not just for bee work. They are versatile and would excel at any task needing dexterity. I will be looking for these again once I burn through these two pair. ... show more

We do a lot of hunting in the southwest, and that terrain is very thorny with a lot of loose rock. So while hiking in and out, it is really helpful having hand protection. I know these aren’t meant for this particular use but they have been great. The goat skin so far is held up pretty well against some wild country. And over several days of pretty tough hiking through 30 country, they kept the hands pretty cool during the hottest parts of the day and warm enough during the cooler mornings too. We will have to see overtime how well they hold up. Cactus thorns are far beyond the intensity of a bee sting so hopefully the material can withstand for a few seasons. Very comfortable on the hands. Fit is as expected. Would definitely recommend. Be creative with your own application with these gloves. ... show more

To begin with let me say I know nothing about bees or bee keeping. But I know a thing or two about quality gloves and these bee keeper/tactical gloves are awesome I am always on the look for good g Leather gloves especially in my size which is 2xl and when I do find them I want anyone with large hands to know too. Yes at first they are a little snug like all good gloves made of leather are till they loosen up a little and form to your hand these have box fingers double stitches on entire glove strong elastic wrist good strong Velcro and a place on the wrist made of leather to pull them on easier now like I said I have big hands but after a few hrs of wearing them around the house to loosen up and their snug like a driving glove but tough like a work glove mesh on the back of the hand for ventilation for me makes a for a great durable good looking work glove even forgive me stylish . All in all a well made comfortable leather glove and it even fits my 2xl hands . My only and I mean only con is on the mesh back is a decal of a honey bee but good news is it looks like it's just a decal and will wear off with time if not it's still great pair of gloves So only time will tell how long they will last but so far 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for me .
