I am very happy with these gloves. Have had a hard time finding gloves that fit well and don’t limit dexterity. They are well constructed and I think they will be very durable. Watch the video on how to wear them. I tucked my sleeves into the gloves the first time and it didn’t go well. After contacting Apis Tactical I watched the recommended video and wore me sleeves over the gloves with no issues since then.

I like this product and still consider it one of the best pair of gloves I have because it is hard to find gloves when you have small hands. There is one correction that needs to be made. (ALL FINGERS TIPS NEED TO BE COVERED!!!!!!) The thumb gets worn down and a bees sting you through the top corner of glove when holding frames.

These are lovely! I got a small, because it measured correctly around my hand, but when I put them on the fingers were a little short, but since they're leather, I need to wet them anyway and wear them while they're wet so they can stretch and accommodate my hands like they're supposed to do. I do that with all my leather work gloves anyway, so I'm not worried about the shortness of the fingers right now. The leather is very thin and fine-grain, as it's real goat skin. I prefer thinner leather gloves, like doe or goat, so this is exactly what I was looking for in my beekeeping gloves. Most of the beekeeping gloves I've found in the local feedstores are cowhide, which is why I jumped on these as soon as I saw them. The backs of the hands are covered in a rubber and nylon mesh, so protect the backs of my fingers and hands against beestings. I am glad that the added protection is there for the backs of my hands, but that my fingertips and palms are only covered in thin goat-hide, because I prefer to feel what I'm holding onto and grabbing, to avoid hurting any of my little ladies while I'm working in their home. Overall, these gloves are exactly what I was looking for in the ideal beekeeping gloves, as they're real leather, but a thin leather (in this case goat, but doe would've been fine too), and have added protection for the back of my hands in case my ladies throw a tantrum while I'm in their hive. Five enthusiastic stars, highly recommended. You might want to note that the fingers are a bit shorter than I expected, so either go up a size or expect to get the leather good and wet and stretch them out by wearing them a couple hours until they dry on your hands. It's not hard to break in leather, so if you're on the fence, get them, it's worth it!

Standard leather gloves are too bulky for me, so these are a welcome addition to my beekeeping tool kit. Those others were relegated to the rose gardening stash already. Why hadn't anybody thought of ventilated gloves before? My hands are usually so wet with sweat by the time I finish bee chores. It's winter now, so I can't say how well they'll keep my hands from creating a lake under them, but the dexterity in them is already a big plus in my book. Small means small, I'm an adult and get tired of having to shop in the children's bee glove department. These fit nice and hopefully will prevent another incident like getting my wedding band cut off because of bee stings. Why do they always go for my ring fingers??

I am not a bee keeper, but I needed some good gardening gloves. Is saw the listing for these and thought I'd give them a try, and I am really glad that I did. Right away you can see that quality materials and workmanship have gone into these gloves. Then I put them and knew right away that these would end up being the best gardening gloves I've ever had. They fit beautifully, are very comfortable, and allow my hands an fingers to move as needed. They are so comfortable, I'm thinking of ordering another pair to use as my regular winter gloves.

I'm not a bee keeper but I got these to use as work gloves. I wanted something that had heavy duty material on the grip side and good breathability on the back and these fit the bill. The fitment is good and true to size. I wear size small and it fits like a small should length wise. As others have said, if you have fat fingers, consider getting a size up. They're pretty stiff when you first get them but do get more comfortable as you break them in. Feels really uncomfortable trying to ball up your fist initially when grabbing something. Quality control could be better. The seams on the right ring finger is crooked and makes it feel a bit off on my right hand. The middle finger on left glove is also a bit off but not much. Also wanted to note, you can't use the touchscreen on your phone with these.

I am not a beekeeper, so my review may be of limited value to those of you that are. I was simply looking for a nice pair of work gloves. What drew me to these are the goatskin palm; this will be both thin (for dexterity) and durable/rugged (for protection) and these are two (2) thigs that you rarely can achieve as they are mutually exclusive. The other thing is size; I have small hands and finding nice work gloves for small hands is difficult. I ordered a small, and while this is a size I typically wear I found the size fits well. If there is one (1) criticism I level on gloves, it is internal seams. Once you try a pair of gloves with external seams, you really appreciate the external seams in the fingers. They don’t look nearly as nice, but for dexterity and fit external seams cannot be beat. However I don’t withhold a star here, as internal seams are the industry standard. Overall these fit well and have great dexterity. Durability is only a test of time, but goatskin should not disappoint me either. These are a bit on the pricey side for work gloves, but for a specialized use (bee-keeping) may well be within expectations and have features for the industry that are not recognized by my use of work gloves.
