Da Beast is a great for it! I love it! Lots of program settings for the power and pedal assist and tons of power. The bike is heavy but well balanced and performs very well. The extras that are included rack bag and phone holder bottle holder and tire pump are nice good quality. This is just as described and I couldn’t be happier. So far so good, make sure to tighten everything up and adjust the spokes, spokes on my unit were very loose, don’t lose the shim for adjusting the brakes, these are not the type of brakes that you loosen and apply pressure to and tighten, shim is needed for adjustment, bags are useless, best to buy some saddle bags. MOST IMPORTANTLY, this bike has a large crank center to ground clearance not very ergonomic, so raising the seat to get full pedal stroke will leave you on your tippy toes, not really safe because the bike weighs 98 pounds, so any unlevel ground will put you at risk of tipping and injury. ... show more

This bike has it all! It works really well. A few things to note: the pedals are made of plastic and can contact the ground if pedalling through a turn. Setting up the display and speed is a little clunky and settings are not persistent. The battery on the one I got is so tall that it is a challenge to remove from the bike for charging, etc. The bike is comfortable to ride. I am 6' tall FWIW. The tires might not last as long as I'd like, but I am putting miles on it everyday. It has good power and speed. 25 mph is about how fast you can go at assist level 4. I’m very happy with my apex50. I live in a very hilly community and I really enjoy riding again. It allows me to climb hills others avoid. I would look at a step thru if you’re going to haul stuff on the rack. It’s tuff to throw your leg over, for me anyway
