Vertical roof car port: (pissed I paid full price) First issue: the packages arrived with the corners of the sheet metal always bent and smashed. I flatten them out but it will rust through sooner this way. 2nd The Tubing is 1 1/2", it would be so much better if they used the standard 2" like the larger carports. this one is much more flimsy despite the fact it is smaller. 3rd: the frame bolts were Phillips head screws this time, my last carport were actual bolt heads. Despite using a T13 bit to mitigate chewing up the head it simply stripped out every darn bolt. No matter how gentle or slow i go even using a screw driver just to get the bolt tight and not loose to the touch it was basically a one time never taking it apart install. some even stripped before they tightened up at all so its cheap weak metal on these screws and bolts. 3rd the sheet panel caps on top are only held on by 2 screws, I have not finished mine yet so when im done if i have enough screws, im going to put more up there. In regards to the screws, Iv ran a few that seem to just spin no longer catch anything, this wasn't due to my install its the material. I think the frame is too thin or maybe the screws just chewed up before they got all the way in. Last issue: the nut plates: I had a couple nut plates that were not quite secured when installing the legs, the bolt just turns and wont tighten down. That's all I got so far, prob will leak was surprised it didn't come with the butyl tape like the last one maybe it doesn't need it but whatever. ... show more
