This is a aluminum frame louvered pergola. Assembly took one me 8 hour with 2 people, other have recommended 3 people, but 2 will be fine, put some sunscreen before install. For the most-part the instructions are clear. We have wrong parts and contact customer service, they sent us the right part next day for free. We didn't have to undo/redo anything major along the way. Some of the parts is losing, but easy fix, and it come with extra part, spread them out before you begin if you have extra room, that would save a good bit of time. The product comes in 6 boxes. The boxes are very heavy and quite large. make sure that you have help for moving them and somewhere to put them until you are ready to assemble. Plan for a full day for this project as there are a lot of parts. The outside frame and the legs are all aluminum . So it wouldn't rust and lasts for long time Installing the louvers is a bit tedious. they are easy to drop into place but there are a LOT of them. Slip 5 or 6 in place at a time from the inside, so you didn't have to go up and down the ladder and back and forth and then moved to the outside of the pergola When I was finished, I use hooks to hang some lights (not included) all the way around the frame - looks great. I just finished installing，so I have no comments on how well it handles weather. At this point, I feel like it was a good buy at the price point that I paid ... show more

    • Premium Pergola That Completely Transformed Our Backyard
This pergola has become the centerpiece of our patio. The all-aluminum construction feels incredibly sturdy and well-made, and I like that I don't have to worry about rust or constant maintenance. The modern gray finish looks clean and complements our outdoor furniture nicely. The adjustable louvers are easily my favorite feature. Being able to control the amount of sun, shade, and airflow makes the space comfortable throughout the day. On hot afternoons we can create plenty of shade, and when the weather is nice we simply open the louvers to let in more sunlight. The included curtains and mesh screens are a great addition. The curtains provide privacy when we want it, while the netting helps keep bugs away during evening dinners without blocking the breeze. The built-in drainage system also works well, directing rainwater through the posts instead of letting it drip everywhere. Assembly definitely takes time because of the size, and having an extra pair of hands makes the process much easier. Once installed, though, it feels solid and worth the effort. Overall, this pergola gives our backyard a true outdoor living room feel. It's perfect for relaxing, entertaining guests, or enjoying family meals outside, and it has quickly become one of our favorite home upgrades. ... show more

Looks great and feels very sturdy. The louvers are easy to adjust, and the curtains provide a nice sense of privacy without making the space feel closed off. It looks fantastic in our backyard.
