I recently purchased the Aoxun 10x12 Hardtop Gazebo, and overall, I am very pleased with the quality. Here is my breakdown of the experience: What’s in the box: The package arrived in two boxes as described. I was really impressed that they included protective gloves and the necessary tools for assembly. Even if you don't own any tools yourself, you have everything you need to get this built. Assembly Tips: While the paper instructions are decent, I highly recommend watching the animated YouTube assembly video—watch it two or three times before you even start! It really helps clarify those small, tricky details that the paper manual might leave slightly ambiguous. A note on assembly time: I saw some reviews claiming it takes 2 to 4 hours to assemble, but I’m not sure how that’s possible. For context, it took our group of 4 people about 9 hours to finish. Be realistic: it takes a significant amount of time to put together properly, so set aside a full day or a weekend and take your time. My only complaint: The plastic film they stuck to the roof panels was a nightmare. I absolutely hated it—it is extremely annoying to remove, as it tears into tiny pieces. Since the edges of the metal panels are sharp, removing this film becomes dangerous, even while wearing the included gloves. Definitely exercise caution here! Quality & Size: Once assembled, the structure feels incredibly strong and solid. I have no concerns about its durability. The size is excellent as well, though I definitely suggest double-checking the measurements provided by the seller to make sure it will fit your specific space perfectly before you commit to the purchase. Overall, it’s a great addition to the backyard. Despite the frustration with the plastic film on the panels, the end result is well worth the effort.

This is a nice gazebo. It does take a lot of patience to put together. One of the most tedious parts of assembling it is pulling off the sealed on plastic that is on the roof peices- this took longer than you would expect. I realize this is to prevent from being scratched, but it still scratches easily. Once it’s done, it’s worth it. Looks nice and appears sturdy.

The gazebo is excellent quality and not difficult to assemble. It does require at least two people to assemble. It provides enough shade for an 8x8 hot tub and looks great too! The instructions are easy to follow and we had no problems at all. It has already proven itself sturdy in a storm with high winds at our house the very first day. I highly recommend this gazebo!

Great gazebo for the price. Packaged very well in two boxes and easy to assemble but, need two people. Comes with hand tools but highly recommend having a cordless drill and all the right bits to make the job easier. Quality is good but post are not as big as picture shows. It’s sturdy, but not as sturdy as the wooden gazebo’s are. Only complaint is it takes a lot of time to get the plastic film off the roofing sheets. Would recommend to purchase this gazebo to anyone.

So I have to say the gazebo is amazing and gorgeous! But the install takes a lot longer than it says, took us around 9 hours. The instructions for the most part are good but the roofing ones could use a few more details. There are soooo many parts for this but it was repeative for a good portion since there are 4 sides.. Overall I'm glad we have it but I definitely wouldn't do it again. Keeps the sun and water (our sprinklers) out with the privacy curtains. Would recommend if you have time and friends definitely need 3 to 4 just for the roof....

I am glad to finally purchase a hardtop for my deck. After mounting it down, I feel the base won’t move but I feel the actual legs that Mount to the base that you attach with 3 small screws will fail sooner. It’s keeps the shade and is nice. When it does rain, the water drips down from the center on all sides. When you build it, you can see they have angled that way to move the water. Which is fine. Rather have it in the sides. Will need a few hands for this and WEAR gloves when dealing with the roof parts. They are sharpe. You will also spend most of your time peeling off the plastic from the roof. Hope to get 3 years out of it Also. Wish the legs were spread alittle more.

It took a few days to assemble for the two of us (husband/wife), except for standing up the legs & frame; one person each to hold a leg segment and a third to reach up and slide the pieces together. Once the frame was up, it was relatively straight-forward and a matter of time. I kept the bolts slightly loose until the very end, and then went around the entire structure to recheck and tighten every bolt and screw (no small task, just be consistent and thorough). Keeping it slightly loose is important so that the roofing panels and overall assembly can easily center and align itself as you go. NONE of the two dozen gable ends with the plastic inserts were tapped, and I had to get a 6mm x 1.0 tap and do them all myself (don't try to tell me they're supposed to be self-tapping when using a machine screw). I also then realized, in hindsight, that we hadn't actually cross-threaded some of the leg bolts as I initially believed, but that some brackets holes were most likely not tapped either. You may want to check and\or chase vertical brackets holes that are part of the triangular foot bases. As most people have complained, removing the plastic from the roofing panels is a chore and burden that should NOT be placed on customers (the sheet metal probably comes with plastic on it for protection during factory cutting/trimming). The plastic should be removed at the factory, and the roofing panels separated by paper pieces when boxed for protection during shipping. The key to installing the roofing panels is to follow the instructions. Start at the left side of one corner and install left to right with next edge on top of the installed panel edge. It can be a little tricky getting them to slide in properly, but they will fit, making sure they are properly set into the channel (the panels are a bit flimsy and can require some coaxing/manipulation). Do not tighten the bolts completely as you go to hold panels in place, but allow some flexibility. Hint: When you're assembling the roofing gable pieces, you may want to tap the plastic mounts to make the roofing bolts an easier install (some bolts go in easy, others are a chore to get the correct alignment). It is possible to remove most of mounts to tap and reinstall, but it's easier beforehand (these are all 6mm x 1.0, but you should double-check for your kit). Our kit had a sufficient amount of extra screws, of each type, and extra plastic roofing mounts. Although there is plenty of opportunity for arguments, ALWAYS go back to the instructions as a reliable guide (when in doubt, stop and rest, or leave it for tomorrow). NOTE: 10' x 10' is actually 8.5' x 8.5' between outside of foot bases. Anyways, we did get it together ourselves and it looks pretty good at a reasonable price. We are still considering whether or not to install the screens and curtains.
