The stools arrived today in two separate boxes. I thought the third was missing, so contacted the seller, but the last one arrived later. So be aware you may get two chairs together and one later in the day. Some of the seller reviews had me worried. But it all worked out. The price was dropped $20 after I ordered them, so waiting to see if they will adjust and give me a credit for the price difference, since it was literally just a few days ago. The stools were easy to put together, well packed and not a single scratch or issue with any of them. Nothing was missing or squeaking. They are sturdy. The hydraulic mechanism work, but lowest possible height is perfect for my counter height. The base is not super heavy, so be aware of that when sitting. They swivel great and just added clear bumpers on the side of the wood to protect it from hitting the counter. I see these lasting for me, since I am careful with my things. I will always pull it out more away from the counter before swiveling to watch the tv.. things like that will preserve the furniture. I also have a very gentle cat that doesn't damage anything even with the sharpest claws. They look great and are a bit darker than I had wanted on the back, but still beautiful. They are a true walnut and match my chest and bean bag lol. So a win there. I used to always be simple minimalist light wood kind of person, but starting to just be eclectic. So these are more mid century style, but still go with my other things. I would buy again.

Just got these so can’t comment on long term durability, but they are quite sturdy and comfortable. The height adjustment mechanism word smoothly and they are not at all wobbly, even at the highest level. Also, they extremely quick and easy to assemble!

They shipped super fast and the price was manageable. They look modern and comfortable and a reviewer mentioned a protective piece under the base so they wouldn’t scratch up her floor. Well, I’m not sure the plastic ring, that was already dislodged upon delivery, will actually prevent the metal base from gauging holes in our solid wood floor. I was expecting a carpeted or felt protector. No one has placed a photo of the bottom yet so I will once I see how they work on the floor. The back is a paper veneer but the seats seem highly cushioned. Package was packed well. I’m not sure if I can keep them.
