Have lived in my present home for 35 years. Never had wifi/ internet, until February of this year, 2025, that’s when i purchased Starlink. For years, i’ve wanted security cameras, but no access to wifi, meant no security cameras. After getting Starlink, which is very impressive itself, i started my search for wireless security cameras, that didn’t require a monthly fee. I saw these on Amazon, read the reviews, and did research online, and decided to try these. I was satisfied with the price, and functionality. I decided to go with these AOSU cameras. I am not disappointed. They were easy to install, setup and connect to my Starlink. It’s been almost 6 months with no issues at all. I highly recommend these cameras, if you are searching for easy installation, setup, and simplicity of operation, without no monthly subscription fee.

After a failed purchase with another brand (more money and 2 less cameras), I purchased these cameras because a subscription not was required for them to work. The cameras installed easily. No sim card was required. Not data plan is required for them to work. Plus, they were less expensive then the other cameras we had previously purchased. There is a short lag in the voice when someone is speaking through the camera, but we figured that was the wifi causing it. The picture is clear and we are very pleased with the quality and the additional security we now have on our property. Excellent purchase for the price!

Pros: - Easy to set up. Cameras work well, and image is decent, but not "license-plate-clear" past maybe 30 feet in low light. - App seems nice and easy to use also. - Love the "no subscription required" event recording feature, and the remote live "PTZ" viewing. - Unpowered battery life seems to be a couple/few days, which is decent. - Cameras can run on Solar or USB C power (adapters not provided, only the cables). Cons: - Re: motion sensing - be sure to set each camera's "Default View" so it can "see 'em coming a mile away", because the camera has a 1-2 second delay between "sensing" and "acting", meaning if one can run fast enough to beat that delay, the camera might miss him. - "360° panning" is true, BUT be aware that when the camera hits "360°", it stops tracking and moving, until the object in question returns to view. If not, camera resets to its default position in 30 seconds. This means that camera placement must accommodate that weakness. "Color Night Vision" means a LIGHT comes on, triggering the sensor to revert camera to color. It looks great, but if you don't want a bright light coming on, then black-and-white night vision is all you get. - Re: Subscription fees... Aosu sort of "hides" info about subscription plans until you actually get the app, sign in, and look at the deals, which is a bit shady. Also, it's pricey if you opt for a "Plus" subcription, which goes up in price with EACH camera. A 5-cam subscription is like $280 per year. - I bought a four-camera system, but they only offer a three- or a five-camera subscription. So they've either got you buying not enough or too much in some cases. Also, in order to control five cameras on the app, you need to buy ANOTHER Homebase, because each one apparently only accommodates four cameras unless you but the big 6-camera package with a bigger Homebase. - ALSO, not all cameras go with all base srstions BE CAREFUL when buying, if you plan to add stuff later - be sure everything is compatible. VERY confusing. So this is all kind of scrambled, perhaps on purpose to make you spend more money, which is obnoxious. Definitely not the cheapest service, but it does open up some cool features, if you got the money. Overall, a good system, but they're sneaky with the pricing, and there a few "buggers" to be accommodated in your settings/placement. Experimentation is in order. Took me 4 hours to settle on 4 good places/settings for the cameras, as the only way to know if the placement is good, is to install it and then find out. Very hard to hold the camera and test placement. Bottom line, it's a good system and app, BUT be aware of these weaknesses and check subscription pricing and component cross-compatibility before buying.

Decided that I needed a camera set to keep an eye on the perimeter of my property. AOSU was recommended by a neighbor who was formerly in the security business. Received these and promptly set them up. Very easy. Installed in the desired locations and all receive strong wi-fi signal. The app works great and I can view what the cameras see wherever I am, home or not. I particularly like the fact that the camera will follow a detected person once they are spotted by the camera. The lights and siren were features I especially wanted for the extra security they offer. I am 100% secure with this set up. I had a minor issue with one camera after about 1.5 months of operation. Customer service responded immediately, and after some testing they happily sent me a replacement camera (no charge) for the one that was malfunctioning. If you need a security camera set up, without monthly subscription fees, that work perfect, I highly recommend AOSU

Peace of Mind is Priceless! This camera system is easy to install, app easy to setup, quality video AND audio (didn't realize audio was a feature when purchased), the cameras are easy to operate. Completely satisfied with the operational aspects. Only suggestion for maker, add a more versatile mounting hardware option for the system, a fixed mount system limits application sights.

It is an OUTSTANDING system! I put a solar camera on the four corners of my home- it is true 360 degree coverage. I can walk completely around my house and it never loses sight. It also has great distance. It will pick up my car in lane approximately 200 ft out and follow it right into the garage. It's basically only $100 per camera- well worth the money. And very easy to install, three screws per camera and you're done. It was also very easy to connect it to my Starlink satellite internet. BUY THIS SYSTEM- you will not regret it. Peace of mind for a minimal amount of time and money.
