I cannot believe how intimidated i was for so long to install a security system. Had I known how simple installation would be with the AOSU cams and base I could've saved myself all that anxiety. But I've got it now! Super simple instructions ensure you get it right the first time without all the confusion and profanity. Ample motion detection settings and privacy settings. Crystal clear viewing and playback. 3 different night vision modes. Sleep buttons on app for each cam for when you're working out in the yard. Immediate or intelligent modes for notifications. Solar batteries are at a constant 100%. Even low wifi signals do not seem to diminish instant alerts nor do they cause missed activity. I've since also purchased the AOSU Ultra cam doorbell because i love my system THAT much. I probably didn't even need the doorbell (i bought it just to be the coolest neighbor on the block) although in this day & age you never know. The cams are substantial, sturdy, and are removable to be able to charge them up if need be, using the included charging cable. But with the solar panels i don't need to do that. And knowing that they can be removed and brought inside during Florida's hurricanes is an absolute plus. Seriously, why wait? Take the plunge on these cams. The quality is amazing. ... show more

- Image quality is excellent coming from my 2 year older 3MP cameras - Signal strength is great compared to my previous cameras (which to be fair I had the dvr connected wirelessly to my router so of course the signal would drop even more connected again to the wirless cameras) - only 4 cameras to 1 hub, if you want more cameras then you gotta get a 2nd or 3rd hub, connecting them to your app is also pretty simple - sharing the feeds with other people in your house is simple to do, i found it easier to share through the email they used to sign in with, if you have a 2nd hub with your extra cameras you'll have to share that too - battery life has been great so far, definitely charge up before mounting because if your solar panel doesn't get sun for more than 1-2 hours a day where you got it mounted then it may take longer to fully charge up. But now even on cloudy days they don't go under 95% and they fill up on sunny days - Pretty sensitive to motion which I'm fine with would rather they pick up all motion than miss something - downloading clips is easy to do and saves right to your phone - only negative is I would've like some more sturdy mounting screws/plates. You could easily tear these off BUT when you do mess with the cameras (i.e. unplug the solar panel) the cameras do let out a loud alarm ... show more

I recently bought this security camera system and found that the image quality and audio were excellent. The installation process was simple, and the hardware provided was sufficient for a secure setup. The accompanying app was user-friendly and offered useful features for both home and away use. One standout feature that I appreciated was the ability to select specific zones in the live feed. However, the customization options in the app were limited, lacking features like setting up schedules or creating smart security programs. One issue I encountered was with the initial delivery, where one of the cameras became detached from its base and stopped working after a firmware update. I reached out to customer service through the app, and although the troubleshooting steps didn't work, their prompt escalation to another department led to a replacement camera being sent within a couple of days, which paired seamlessly. Despite the initial setback, the system has been working flawlessly since the replacement, and I am overall satisfied with its performance. ... show more

Reasonable price, fast delivery. Fairly easy setup but phone app leaves much to be desired as the soft buttons don't react as expected. All cameras were recognized but screen did not show this clearly. Going to the camera view screen confirmed all were in fact connected and working. Check each S/N (last 5 digits is enough) on the cameras against the display. Do not yet know what range these will work at with the WiFi setup or if system allows me to work through a distant WiFi secondary router node. I opted for the fixed non-rotary/controllable pan types as that is just one more function that can fail and placement locations are not easy to reach. May add one such pan/tilt unit later to experiment. ... show more

I used to have wyze, but this time around I tried aosu. I got the solar-powered chargers to go with so I NEVER have to worry about runn8ng low on juice. They capture EVERYTHING! Love this product. Built tough ( one dropped to the concrete below while installing and it works fine ), cool options such as voice disguise for single woman who wants intruder to think she's a man. Install was a breeze. Super easy, plus the modem thingy has a usb-C port to charge my son's game controller right by the tv. Win-win. ... show more

It was a difficult decision at first to leave the Y One brand, especially since I owned 12 cameras. However, I couldn’t be happier with my switch to Aosu cameras—they truly outperform what I was using before! Their quick response times, easy access to footage, cross camera playback, excellent battery life, clear videos and safe home-based storage are just a few of the features I love. I could go on and on about how much better these cameras are. I’m so impressed that I recently purchased their doorbell camera, and it’s phenomenal as well.
