I like the idea of space saving and Eco-friendly tiny houses. While the compost toilet is expensive, it is very useful to use in a mobile tiny house. I also liked the Gray water and rain water harvesting system. And there are lots more useful tips provided by the author.

This a very short book. It looks like it is an overview of the ins and outs of tiny homes. It’s nicely written with good and helpful pictures. It’s worth it’s small price.

This is the most poorly written book I have ever read. He uses a lot of words to cover the same topic over and over, and I never felt like the book got anywhere. It is vague, and really doesn't give the reader anything of value. I have helped build a tiny home before and I was hoping this would be a book I could refer to if and when I build one for myself in the future, but I can't see any, or very little good information, so to say it is the definitive build guide is stretching the truth quite a bit. Sorry but I am sure you can find much better manuals on this topic out there. ... show more

This book is an absolute sham. It claims to be a technical manual for building a tiny home but it is, in fact, nothing of the sort. It will give vague suggestions and the broad strokes of concepts. I was looking for building rules, layouts or blue prints, lists of supplies, and instructions on how to build specific parts of the home. This book offered me reasons why I might want to build a tiny house, which having purchased a book on the topic, I am far beyond that stage. This should not even be called a book! Poor grammar, misspellings, page 35 1/2 page is missing! Print just stops in middle of sentence! As far as the information given, it is non existent. For example when talking about plumbing your tiny home he says hire a plumber! Same with wiring, he says hire an electrician! My wife is a big fan of the tiny house movement but the more she read of this 70 page pamphlet the more angry she got. ... show more
