I installed the product (Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014, Summit version) and everything worked, but there was one problem with the sound settings - after installation there was no sound, I changed the volume in the amplifier settings from 0 to 20 and everything is fine, but every time after restarting the car the amplifier settings reset and the car volume is displayed in the window as 0 and there was no sound again, I had to change it manually every time. I contacted the seller's support and they sent me a software update. After the software update the problem was solved. Customer service was very helpful in answering and providing support, so I recommend contacting them if you have any questions or problems. ... show more

This is by far one of the best things I've bought for my car. It looks great and was super simple to install. I had a couple of questions as far as setting it up to automatically start android auto when the car starts, but the seller answered my email back within just a few hours. The unit is terrific IF....you can get it to sync with your car, your phone and it's own hundreds of settings. There is NO, repeat NO instruction, owners manual, on line operating manual...nothing. There is NO repeat NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The "Contact us" tab opens a FORM for your name, Email, phone number and comments. I wrote FOUR, begging for help only to get NO REPLY. I paid a local geek who spent 3 hours with my phone, in the car getting about 90% of the systems to work. It's still not right as I have to go to APPs and resync everytime I start the car. Also, the cars COMPASS is now frozen, apparently cannot link to NAV GPS...??? It could and should be so nice but the manufacturer is just "not available" and doesn't care. I finally called Amazon cust service who must have applied some pressure because I received an E mail giving a DIFFERENT help address. They sent E-MAIL suggestions on how to make it work. Nothing helped, I RETURNED the unit and it took a MONTH to get a refund. Be warned.... ... show more

It's a fantastic idea that has been sloppily executed. Marketed as "for Grand Cherokee", but it's a universal CDJR unit with a bunch of extra and/or missing connections. The instructions are almost as vague as it gets. The built-in home screen (launcher) is not customizable at all, except to change the wallpaper (only one included though) and changing the vehicle graphic to one of about a dozen mid-quality clipart images... NONE of which are actually a Grand Cherokee. Fortunately, being a techy guy, I figured out how to download and modify a GC image from the internet for use in this spot. That said, the built-in launcher has permanent icons for AM/FM radio and *local* media only. If you're living in the 21st century and use a streaming service, you have to open the clunky app drawer and search for your app of choice. You cannot add widgets or remap ANYTHING about the launcher. Additionally, several apps have been locked out by the manufacturer and can't be installed (ex: Google Calendar). The system settings have been locked behind a PIN code that they do not provide. I was really excited for this when I purchased it, but I'm disappointed with its shortcomings. I was preparing to uninstall and return it, but I tried one last thing... Installing a third-party launcher app. This at least gave me the ability to customize my home screen with things I actually use, and to organize my app drawer a little. The system is still very restrictive though. Other notables: - Car settings are a "one size fits all" solution, so it's tough to change things you actually want to, buried amongst settings that aren't applicable to your vehicle. The labels slowwwwwly scroll, so it takes awhile to read what the setting even does in some cases. - The audio Equalizer app is a big fail. Trying to zone forward causes the audio to fade out entirely, while zoning to the rear fades the volume up. *You can still reach the Jeep audio controls through the Car Settings app, which seems to work properly. - Brightness control doesn't really do much - Timezone is defaulted to China, and you'll have to dig to find the TWO settings you have to change to let it sync with GPS location. ... But hey, YouTube works :) ... show more

This is a fantastic product! My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude needed a nice upgrade. I love having the big screen, Apple CarPlay, YouTube, Netflix and much more!!! It looks great and not too difficult to install. You’ll need some customizing but the support is on point.
