First time trying AOFAR product. Did not display distance. Emailed customer support and got an answer within 24 hours. They sent me a new one the next day. Kuddos to them. They back up their product.

It worked great in the open out to 700 yards so far. In the woods the same as every other. So comparably it was as good or better than the more expensive ones. Why people couldn't comprehend the modes is because they didn't read the enclosed literature. Was actually very simple

The farthest I've ranged on a non-reflective target is 874 yds on a tree. I'm sure it would range up to 1100 on a reflective target. The Scan mode is instantaneous- no lag that I experienced. It has angle calculator for shooting up and down hill. Glass is decently clear especially for a 6x range finder. I haven't had the opportunity to use the Speed mode yet. ... show more
