Set it up to run in city mode next to my uniden radar, any time my uniden directed K band this one did not made a pep, any time my uniden was quiet KA band was going off like crazy on this 1, set it to the highway mode produce even worst results then I expected as soon as I entered highway it started beeping with no stop while my uniden did not made a pep true out entire stretch, because the stretch of the road I travel true never have any speed traps on it due to lack of places for COP’s to hide. All in all, as much as I wanted this thing to be accurate my hopes were shuddered. DON’N waist your money on this radar detector, look for something better. ... show more

    • Not for the long haul
Seems like a good idea, but not so much. Radar detector is useless. False alarms all the time and did not detect several law enforcement radar traps. No adjustment for sensitivity. Menu system is horrible and settings are not retained to mute annoying warnings all the time. The camera seems to work ok, but the housing is not holding up to summer temperatures. It is warping and distorting in the heat. The mount attachment will not likely stay attached soon. This is after only 2 months use. It was cheap. That is about the only thing that was good. The volume is a bit low even when it's on the highest level of volume. the radar is a bit sensitive and not always accurate on police radar

    • Is GREAT to me!
I don't understand some of the reviews. Saying it beeps for no reason when there are no cops around. Just because you don't SEE them does that make them not there? Not all radar signals are from the POLICE. It tells you what band the signal is from. Also ALL radar detectors will beep from the same stuff this one does, it's what they do. It also doesn't reset when the car is turned on and off, it just turns the power off and on to use, but the recordings don't erase till you format the memory chip again when it's full. I had mine for 3 years before I had to replace it for flickering and went through hot summers and I never had an issue with it not sticking/suction and falling off or warping of any kind. People complain you can't mute it but you can by pressing the round record button down till it mutes, but make sure you hold it down again when you leave that area or it will not go off when you want it to. I think them offering 2 devices in 1 is great, that's a win win for me. It also helps in the case that if you do get pulled it doesn't look like a radar detector just a camera because cops don't like it when people have a radar detector and in some states they are actually illegal to have. This has saved me 8 times including 3 accidents that I was able to prove no fault! The money and chaos it has saved me is AMAZING! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Not able to keep alert muted, resets every time vehicle is turning off/on. Camera is so bad, only see a few feet in front of vehicle. Speed detection is garbage. Doesn't work and was proven by speed camera. Save your money.. Seller was awesome, delivery was fast and packed good. ... show more
