This Antenna worked perfectly for my needs!! I debated over this Antennas Direct unit (ClearStream 4MAX) or the ClearStream 4V. Using the local transmitter tower map for my location (through Antennas Direct tv transmitter locator web site), I decided to go with the 4MAX because it was listed with a slightly wider angle. I added the ClearStream Juice amplifier to compensate for the long cable usage to reach my TV. I mounted it on the peak with the longer than stock stainless steel lag screws I purchased separately to ensure I reach the boards under the facia for strength in high winds. My goal was to pick up signals in the green and purple circles (see picture) and assumed I’d pick up the towers within my inner circle regardless of direction. I experimented first by aiming due south to start, then due west finding 56 channels with a couple long distant ones to pixel out some. Then I the aimed it southwest in the direction of the furthest large group of transmitter towers and found 64 channels with no issues, no reception issues whatsoever! I returned to the antenna and secured the wing nuts firmly to maintain the antenna direction permanently. I monitored all channels at dusk, night, sunrise, high winds and rain. All channels were undisturbed ! This worked awesome for me and I highly recommend for situations like mine. Very pleased with this antennae. I'm picking up about 50 channels. Only the channels that are in a fairly direct line come in all the time. One channel is only 7 miles away, but is behind the direction the antennae is pointed and doesn't come in during storms. One channel is pretty close to straight direction, but 40 miles away and it also doesn't come in during storms. I've got it mounted 30' high on top of the house with a clear view over surrounding trees and hills, so I'm getting about as good of reception as you can get. All the other channels are always clear as a bell. Running 3 tvs. I added a signal booster because the cables are between 35' and 50' long and because I'm splitting the signal 3 ways. ... show more

My neighbor installed this antenna on my roof, no problems at all. Customer service was very helpful when I called for assistance in positioning the antenna. I am located rurally about 50-60 miles from where the broadcast towers are located. I receive all the local channels except Fox. I'm very happy with what I receive. Between the antenna and my Roku streaming stick, I do not miss the DirecTV satellite at all. And I'm saving money! ... show more

Someone recommended this product to me - but I live in an area which traditionally had lousy reception doe to the terrain. I put this antenna and the Juice pre-amp and could not believe the number of channels I was receiving. At best I could receive 20 channels over the years - this antenna received 69 channels!
