Features

  • Multi Band HF Antenna: Experience optimal performance with this hf multiband antenna, which works across 8 bands (40/30/20/17/15/12/10/6 meters) and covers 750MHz with 50 impedance and a maximum SSB power of 100W. It features a stable low standing wave ratio (SWR) of 1.1 across all bands, ensuring reliable and efficient signal transmission. Perfect for POTA, SOTA and Field Day activities
  • Low-Noise Coil Design: Upgraded coil structure with reinforced spring pressure ensures consistent contact and reduced signal instability. The new sliding regulator replaces traditional screws and plugs, allowing fast, tool-free SWR adjustment by simply sliding the block. This design minimizes noise, speeds tuning, and reduces user errorideal for field and outdoor HF operators
  • Excellent Reception: Optimized for both transmission and reception, the JPC-12 ham radio hf antenna delivers reliable signal efficiency with a low standing wave ratio. Fully compatible with all amateur HF transceivers, it can be used directly without an antenna analyzer or tuner (optional for fine tuning). Suitable for beginners and experienced hams, it enhances signal strength while keeping setup simple and predictable
  • Easy to Deploy: Weighing only 1.35 kg (3 lb), this portable HF antenna can be deployed by one person in about 5 minutes. The modular split design allows compact storage and easy transport, while the reinforced 2.5m stainless steel rod antenna resists bending or breaking during outdoor use. Perfect for camping, travel, balconies, parks, and emergency sites, its backpack-friendly size supports true on-the-go HF operation
  • Package Contents: The package contains Aluminum Tubes *4, Stainless Steel Rod Antenna (Top 2.5m) *1, Ground Anchor *1, Ground Mesh 10 Strands *1, Aluminum Alloy Base *1, and Multi-band Inductive Coil *1. The antenna is stable, durable, and corrosion-resistant, designed for easy installation in grass or sand. All components pack into a compact black carry bag

  • I LOVE IT!
Style: JPC-12
Can one give ten stars?? This is an IDEAL antenna for POTA. I love it! I loathe trying to put antennas into trees (that won't be at an optimal height anyway) and have had bad luck with the FAR more expensive transmitting loops. This antenna is inexpensive, easy to set up, well constructed, very compact and light weight (I took it on trip to Greek islands and had a blast), and just works. It takes about two minutes to set up . . . five if I have to untangle the radials. I also purchased some additions - a metallic ground cloth (that may or may not help the radial situation - I put that into the "can't hurt" category) and a small tripod for when I can't use the stake. I also picked up an inexpensive 18-foot whip so that I don't have to use the coil (that I now use only for 30M and 40M). It appears to work very well. With 20 watts (that seems to be the sweet spot for POTA activation - gets out on SSB but doesn't require a big battery) and this antenna, I regularly work across the country and the world. I've had some nice SSB chats from the field with hams in Europe - even busted into a few pile-ups while working the CQ SSB DX contest from a park in Delaware. Downsides - one has to adjust the length when one changes bands . . . but how often does one change bands during a POTA operation anyway. Band adjustment, particularly using the 18-foot whip and no coil is simple - convert the meter band to feet, divide by four, then pace off the length with my one-foot long foot. Easy peasy!! Once one gets it dialed-in, 40M operation with the coil is easy to set up and also works. Needless to say, I highly recommend this antenna, particularly for portable operation. ... show more

  • Awesome Portable Antenna - POTA Perfect
Style: JPC-12
This is PERFECT for POTA!! It was extremely easy to put together and packages up nice and small with a nice case for it. Super light. It tuned up to 10m without the compensator and tuned up 20 well with it. Just 5W and putting this together in the backyard yielded contacts in less than 10 minutes. It looks to be high quality and feels like it’s going to be durable. It is very light, so I’m sure there might be some a give and take somewhere. Overall, this is gonna be a great addition to my POTA kit and I’m sure it’ll work great for anything else. Comes with everything you need except for coax. ... show more

  • Works great but some modifications help….
Style: JPC-12
Easy to setup the first time. I have made contacts all over with only my 20W radio. I say easy the first time because once you roll up the coutrerpoise wires it’s a mess. They are thin wires that knot up and are a nightmare to untangle. I spent a few minutes setting up the spike and rods and 10 minutes untangling those wires!!! 🪢😖. I bought a radial plate for it and will built something that should help me deploy the wires easier than the ones it comes with. Other than that it’s awesome. Super easy to tune . I get SWR of <1.4 every time and often <1.2. Some adjustments for bands with wider range if moving from one end of the band to the other. Sturdy and easy to put away in the bag it comes with. Instructions are…… 😕 but it’s so simple to use didn’t matter to me. ... show more

  • Just a nice portable kit gets on the air...
Style: JPC-12
A nice small portable kit that's fast & easy to setup. No trees or poles to put up a wire, this can provide another option to get you on the air. Quality is very nice - all packed into the included zipper carry case. So far I tested with my G90, G106, Yaesu 1000MP, Kenwood 830S and QCX kit builds setup in the backyard. It has worked well on the few bands I've tested, mostly used on 40, 20, 17, 15 and 10 meter bands. The included ribbon counterpoise will get you on the air but I opted to use the JPC-12 counterpoise/radial/grounding plate with bright yellow 18 gauge silicone wires that I alligator clip to the JPC radial plate. I wrap the radials to kite winders that also fit in the zipper case. If not laying on the ground, can elevate the counterpoise wires with driveway markers or in my case I used carbon arrows - pinch the wire into the nock and my little doggie can zip below the wires. I also added in the carry case a spare telescopic whip - ya never know. I'm thinking of adding the capacitor cap but haven't decided yet, probably will. Nice portable kit for POTA, camping, emergency etc. as it will get you on the air. Takes so little room in a vehicle - can actually slip under the seat. I have also used it attached to a pole with the base 24 feet up in the air. Exceeds my expectations for a portable vertical kit... ... show more

  • Good Performance for a Portable Antenna
Style: JPC-12
I set up this antenna in my back yard with the ground mesh setup into three strands at about 120 degrees apart. I set the coil for 20m (gold mark) and the rod was fully extended. The SWR was around 1.2 using a NanoVNA. The radio was doing a good job picking up stations for being a portable antenna. I moved the coil to 40m (silver mark) the the SWR was very good. I was picking up good there too. Did not have time to make contacts but I am going to use this antenna for Parks on the Air. I like how easy and quick it is to setup and it a good value so far. ... show more

  • Fantastic on the go antenna!
Style: JPC-12
This antenna is a great piece of kit for on the go, pota, and sota. Paired with my g90 and NanoVNA, I can tune it to anything from 10 to 40m with SWRs from 1:1.05 on 15m to 1.4 on 40m. I do a lot of digital and CW and was making solid DX to Australia, Japan, Chile, even Germany from the Pacific Northwest with SSB out to Florida on 20W. Setup is simple and tuning is a two minute task. I also picked up the disk that goes between the spike and the SO-239 body for excellence counterpoise layout with 8x 16.5 ft 20awg wires. Really happy with the performance on this highly portable antenna. Weighs very little and packs nicely for long hikes to a clearing or summit. Great fun. ... show more
