I set it up using the 20" shaft because that's how it arrived and after checking swr I needed to shorten the whip so I decided to remove half the shaft and make it 10" and rechecked swr and it came out to a 1.3 overall with the shortest setting. One hell of an antenna paired with Stryker 447HPC2. Only complaint is it’s a little too tall. Might have to go with something shorter because I do a ton of local work. I can hear powerful base stations across the country. Been using it for one week.

I got a 2014 w900l , fiberglass roof, I have a striker cb and a high end 18ft coax in tryed the wilson 2000 that I have always had the best luck out of on every truck I've owned and wouldn't have nothing else but it wouldn't even get the swrs tuned to a usable level , tryed a couple more antennas with poor swr, ended up useing a 2ft fire stick for last several months with fair swrs, did the job. I received the striker antenna just before dark today bolted it on in mins amd without even tuning had great swr reading , tuned very easy and now I'm at a 1.4 and a 1.3 on channel 1 amd 40 easiest quickest results I've ever gotten out of cb antenna, from here on out I want own anything else ... show more
