This little cooler is fairly quiet. There is a bit of humming from the fan, and if it is somewhere where there is a bit of ambient noise, it might not be that noticeable. In a quiet environment, it is very apparent and a little annoying because it does not stop. There is no ON/OFF cycle, just ALWAYS ON. The cooler will hold six 12 oz cans. I don't drink soda, so I won't be putting cans in there. Some 500 mL water bottles will fit, depending on the brand, but the shelf must be removed from the cooler. Many will be too tall to fit. I was able to squeeze two water bottles in here; the tops of the bottles are pressing against the top of the cooler. This will keep your items cool. After 90 minutes the inside temperature is 40°F. I was using it in a room that is 65°F, so this is operating at 25°F below ambient temperature. In a warmer environment, such as the inside of a vehicle, the cooler might not be able to reduce its internal temperature as much. The information on the product page regarding this is a bit confusing because it says it will be 32°F below ambient temperature after one hour. If it is 72° then the cooler will be at 40° if working the way they claim. But if it is only 25°, as is my experience, that will be 45°...and so on. I will be using it in much warmer environments because summer is around the corner and the temperatures are regularly in the 90s and 100s. If you're using it to keep canned drinks cool, this will help keep them cool. I will probably keep a few drinks and some snacks for long trips. The instructions that are included are easy to understand. Lots of warnings and precautions, mostly. If you are using this in a vehicle, it is recommended that you unplug it when the engine is turned off. Depending on the type of vehicle, it might have a 12V outlet that remains on even when the engine is off. That might be okay for short periods. There is no electrical info on this cooler so it is difficult to know for sure.

Nice little fridge for meds or a few beers in the office. Has two inputs, 12v and AC power. Both work great. It seems to run all the time from what I can tell. Relatively low power draw. Cools well. Super light and portable. Recommend!

Excellent mini fridge. The magnetic door provides a tight seal and the couple of beverages I keep inside get and stay cold. The fridge is also pretty lightweight so it's easy to move around. Be warned though that it can get a little wet inside the fridge due to condensation forming, so you might need to wipe it down a bit every so often.

This has definitely been worth ever dollar for me. I have issues with my knees, and a bedroom upstairs. I don't have room for the mini-fridges, this micro-fridge is perfect though. It's so tiny, you can fit more than you thinks possible. Its really been helpful for me, saving me a trips up and down the steps for something cold to drink or late night snack. So far it's worked really well, no issues. It's weighs nearly nothing, the handle on top makes it super easy to carry. It's so tiny and compact, it fits about anywhere. Would be great for dorm rooms, at work, even road trips since it comes with car adapter. Definitely recommend this!!! Great price, super useful, use it about anywhere, even the car.

Not silent or quiet. I can hear it running from minute I turned it on - doesn't bother me but noticed that listing claims it's quiet running and it's really not. At least, mine isn't. There isn't a coolness dial or anything, is just simply an on and off switch in back since this is just meant to be little more than a cooler. I like the handle on top for carrying it. My issue so far has been the door and door handle being a little annoying to try to open when you approach it with something in hands and try to open it one handed.... almost impossible and so usually have to put things down. But this being a fridge/cooler... tend to approach it like that half the time with something to put in it so.... is annoying. I get wanting to make sure door is secure for when carrying it off with maybe stuff in it to keep chill until plugging in again, since it is clearly made with mobility in mind and even comes with car charging adapter. (Heard of people having something like this in cars in my delivery days for long days on road. Can keep some stuff for drinks, snacks, or even small lunch.) And I'd consider taking it with me on a trip. But maybe if handle was different it would be easier to grab one handed and open without having to put things down. I guess it also because it's so small and light, usually need the second hand on that top handle to keep from jerking the whole unity off counter.

I was very excited to get this little unit. It's just the right size to fit in a bookcase and large enough to hold drinks or ingredients for a snack or even lunch. My excitement was short lived though. It didn't feel cold enough to the hand, even after allowing a couple of days to cool itself down, so I put a wireless thermometer in it and left it in it for three days. The temperature fluctuated between 46 and 49 degrees during the entire test period, even though I never opened the door . My refrigerator at home is set to, and maintains a temp of 34 degrees, a very large difference, so I don't think this little unit should be considered a refrigerator, but rather a good cooler. I wanted a refrigerator. Maybe the one I have is defective, but based on my experience it gets two stars.
