Heat output is great! Visually it's on par. Really quiet too. The main problem I have is that the fan that rotates to push the heat out makes a small ticking/rattling noise in high. This just stated a few weeks ago, and of course I'm out of my return policy. I have taken it apart and manually moved the fan, I can get it to stop temporarily, but it just comes right back in a day or two. (and as just an inconvenience, the remote had a dead battery in arrival.) other than the extra high pitched rattling noise of the fan, it's a really good space heater. The remote stopped working. I replaced the battery and it still doesn't work. I paid $30 for a new one and was told I get one. It has been over a year and called several times and no answer. Is this company real. I have been operating without a. Remote. HELP PLEASE 🙏

Though we just installed this, so we can not vouch for the effectiveness of the heat feature, but I did test to make sure it works. That particular function is very quiet, which was one issue I had been concerned about. Otherwise, this is fabulous. Out installer had no trouble with the fasteners or connections. It looks amazing! We replaced a non-functioning, gas, colonial style unit with this and we are thrilled with the transformation of the room. We went with the 60" version and I think it was a good call - the 43" would have looked puny in this case. ... show more

I've had this fireplace for a month and use it every morning and night. Installing it on my bedroom wall was surprisingly easy, taking less than 15 minutes. All the features work very well. This model has lots of options. The dimmer allows for a range of brightness so I can turn it down when going to sleep. The timer is very important so I don't forget and run it all night. Color selection of both the flames and crystals is fun to play with, and the crystals are really pretty. As for heat, it takes the chill off my small bedroom fairly quickly on the high setting. Heat comes out of the front so the top of the fireplace does not get hot. The speed setting is nice to have as well, as that changes the appearance of the flames. I had been looking for an electric fireplace for my home office and didn’t want to spend $1000+, and had read reviews for literally weeks before I decided on this. Came well packaged, and is a very nice, quiet, and good quality fireplace. Doesn’t quite have all the features (back lighting, extra decorative pieces) of more expensive ones but I am happy with the ‘crystals’. Heat output is actually decent for a smaller room and adds very little noise. No, nobody is going to believe the flames are real on this (or any other electric fireplace) although it adds a very cool ambiance to an otherwise dreary room I have to spend to much time in. ... show more

The look of this fireplace is great. I installed it in my finished basement and left it running for a few hours. All the heat seemed to go up the stair well. I didn't really notice much of a temperature difference in the rest of the basement. So looks wise it can't be beat I just hope I can figure out some solution to the heat ... show more

After a few weeks one section of the lights that creates the flame stopped working. I contacted customer service trying to get a replacement and all I got was the runaround. ... show more
