i bought the work pro pack with sawsall and cut off wheels, and as I was surprised with the sawsall blades these amazed me more. I had 8 bolts on my boat trailer that had to be replaced. These grade 8 steel bolts were holding leaf springs on a 14,000 lb. trailer. 2 disks for the whole job. very impressive, grade 8 is no joke Dont get me wrong they wore down to the arbor but if they were a bigger dia. one blade would of done it. I purchased these 4 1/2” Cutoff Wheels hoping they would be fair performers at a good price. Instead, they’re very good performers and an exceptional value. At less then half the price of my regular cutoff wheels, they perform as well and last almost as long. Photo is of one of these disks on my DeWalt Grinder after removing 4 Stainless Puck Locks… cutting through the lock bodies and shackles. I’m very impressed and very pleasantly surprised. Definitely a good price, but the quality isn’t great. They will cut metal sure, but I’ve had a couple that had chips break of of the edge after one or two cuts. I make damn sure I’ve got good eye protection when using these, a face shield might be smart too.
