This is now the centerpiece of our basement remodel and our only source of heat. Very happy with look and quality. A contractor installed in the wall for us. He had to frame out a box to set it into. To be expected, we planned on this. Electrician recommended installing its own line with a breaker because using the heat does pull a lot of voltage. Blower for heat is very quiet. We have about 1000 Sq. Ft area to heat and if I put it on about an hour before going downstairs it is cozy even in 20 degree outside weather. Sure beats the $7k we were quoted for a ductless mini-split! At this rate I could run the fireplace all winter for 5+ yrs before my electric bill would even approach that price. Flame adjustment and choices are excellent. A lot of features for the price and we have been using it nonstop for 3 months with no issues. We love this fireplace for our small “television room”. My husband spends a lot of time in this room and it’s the coldest room in the house. We installed this unit on Monday and it has made this room so much more fun. It totally heats the room in minutes, which is why we purchased it. I appreciated the well packaged box. To be real, all of these fireplaces, regardless of brand, are essentially put together the same. So watch a youtube video on mounting a electric fireplace and you'll know what to do. Def recommend this product.

I love this thing! I would attach a photo of the “flames”, but they all look terrible compared to what it really looks like in person, so I’d rather just tell you. It looks VERY realistic. The combination of crystal and flame colors, size and speed is so fun to play around with according to my mood. The heat comes out of the front (not the top) which is great, but it’s not very intense. That’s ok, that’s not why I got it. Two small issues: the remote has a short range, so I have to get up and close to it for it to activate. And I thought I had read in the Q&A that it could be free-standing, but it is not. It must be hung on or recessed into the wall. ... show more

We are using this unit for heat in our lanai. It works well and is simple to Operate. Very disappointed to not have the screws. When we went to our Ace hardware for $4.87. Worth of screws, our ace person said some one was in last week for the exact same request. We have had a cold spell, so heaters are needed. I should be reimbursed for the screws and my time.
